Awesome fan!

Great buy!

Very disappointed that the installation instructions told us to attach the blades to the blade irons AFTER installing the blade irons to the motor and hanging the fan to the ceiling. Of course, the blade screws go on the TOP of the blades. Fortunately there were only three blades! What a poor design compared to the other Hunter fans we have purchased.

We got these for all our upstairs bedrooms and they’ve been wonderful. My husband was able to install them easily. Super quiet and the whitetan version blends into a while ceiling with just enough texture and visual interest to look high end. 1010 recommend

Not what they used to be….

Sorry to say but Hunter fans is not the company they once were. Not even close. Bought 2 fans directly from Hunter and one wobbled worse than the other. No balancing kits, tho I doubt they would have helped as it was the motors that weren’t balanced. They both wobbled before I even put the blades on, and then ridiculously with the blades installed. This is exactly what happens when a company moves all production to China. I must have purchased 15-20 Hunter fans over the last 25yrs. If there was a problem, customer service was on it and stayed on it until your issue was resolved. The customer service reps I spoke with recently had no knowledge like the reps is old, and only wanted to send me more of the same fans hoping different ones would be better. Instead I purchased the same exact fan for half the price on Amazon, but it wobbled even worse than the first two. I sent back all three, and while Amazon credited me a full refund, Hunter wouldn’t reimburse me for shipping I paid when I purchased them. All true, not embellished, and at this point I’m happy to have moved on to a different fam company. Bye Hunter Fans.

I needed a fan for my uncovered pergola and I couldn’t find one with a remote control. This one works with the exception that it is a pull string. It was difficult to get any confirmation from the seller on whether or not there was a remote connection and the specifications were misleading as it says it is remote control enabled but Wayfair was unable to get that information. Nevertheless the price was excellent so I purchased it and it is working as advertised. Looks good.

CFM is wrong - I bought two, now have to replace them :(

CFM is mixed messages, beware! I bought two, now have to buy another kind to replace these bummers. I splurged on Hunter because brand reputation. There's some requirement situation where CFM is now told in average rather than highest, so I thought the 3631 CFM reported in the Home Depot description page was the AVERAGE. But boy is that wrong. That is maybe achieved on high.

Overall nice fan - from the pictures the screws holding the fans blades to the motor look white, which is the main reason we bought this fan. We wanted it to completely be white. All the pictures on the website reflected white screws. The box the fan came in reflected white screws. It came with bright silver screws - not thrilled about them. Called Hunter & the person we spoke with couldn't determine what color the screws were suppose to be and thought we had installed them upside down. We didn't, they are bright silver. Bummer.

The fan was relatively easy to assemble but is lighter than the older Hunter it replaces by at least 3 lb. I used a 12 inch down tube as my ceiling is 11 ft high. The instructions are also relatively easy to understand. However, after everything was assembled, the fan has a distinct wobble. I followed the instructions for balancing the but the wobble remains. I weighed each of the blades and one was heavier by 5 grams, a condition not covered by the instructions. I also checked the distance between the ceiling and the leading and trailing edges to verify the blade irons were not bent. They were within 1/16th of an inch. With the annoying wobble, possibly due to the relatively light motor, I have to give a 2 star rating.

[Rewarded Review] Decent fan, simple installation procedure

A decent fan for around $100.00. It sufficiently moves enough air around the large bedroom to reduce stagnant air and keep it comfortable.

I'm torn on writing a review. I figured I should point out some installation issues. The fan is overall really great. It's super quiet and I would expect no less from a Hunter. Airflow may be less sufficient for some people but I think it's great for the bedroom where have it installed. All in all the fan is great but their are two major installation issues that are not apparent on any picture I've seen.

[Rewarded Review] Dissapointed

I live in the Midwest and work out in my garage quite a bit but when we get those 95 and 100 degree summers it makes it unbearable to work outside without some kind of air flow. I do have a floor fan I'm really really happy with now (I recently reviewed as well) but I was hoping to have a ceiling fan to provide circulation to the whole space plus the convenience of having it always there and not having to put it away like a floor fan.
