Low is not Low. It will boil, ruin you meal.

Another faulty unit. The bowl wobbles around in the heating unit, and "low" has my soup boiling! The boilg point of water is 212 and tomato sauce is ~208 (F). So, the LOW setting is defective. On another Crock Pot unit I bought, the documentation explains that it quickly raises the temp to 210 (I think... maybe off a couple degrees) and then simmers it for hours. THAT IS NOT LOW.

Need to fix design

I want to love it, but instead I'll say that I like it. This rating is particularly due to a design flaw that, if fixed, will propel it up to really like and maybe even love. The curve of the rim of the black ceramic pot allows drips that fall onto it to travel from top of the rim to bottom and then in between the black pot and the heating unit. From there they run down the inside of the heating unit until they reach its bottom where they blacken from the heat and cause more cleanup. Simply using a ladle for soup while the black pot is still in the heating unit results in this if any drops touch the rim of the black pot. Whoosh, they go right around the rim and in between the hot heating unit and the black pot and start to sizzle and burn. Looking at the two vessels together one would think the black pot's rim would prevent this due to a slight overhang, but it doesn't. I'm really careful, and it still happens. The inside of the heating unit is not as easy to clean as the black pot, and I'm quite tired of cleaning it. The inside of the heating unit stains easily too.

[Rewarded Review] Great crockpot

I like this crockpot. It is a basic model with easy settings. It worked perfect for stews, chili and cooking a roast. It is a great size to feed my family of four and have left overs. It cooks evenly and thoroughly. Then we keep the setting on warm until needed.

[Rewarded Review] Great Crockpot!

I received this product free for review from Influencer. This crockpot is 7 quarts and is huge family size. It has low temp, high temp, and warm. The 3 levels of cooking are all that's needed to make great meals. The crock pot cooked evenly, clean up was easy and basically non stick surface. All my recipes cooked great and within the time frame suggested and temp recommendations. Highly recommend.

The silver part of the crock pot is very lightweight. The heavier part is the ceramic inner part. It’s such nice quality. Ceramic is so easy to clean. This crock pot has ample space to fit a whole chicken if you like. The knob is simple to use with three settings and OFF position. You have OFF, LOW, HIGH, and WARM. I like the stainless finish for easy cleaning. You’ll like cooking with one of these appliances. There are many recipes online but you’ll find yourself getting creative and just adding to the pot what you have in your fridge. Adding different spices to create your favorite dish.

I received the Crock-Pot Manuel 7-Quart Slow Cooker, Stainless Steal from influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. The first thing I noticed was the stainless steal finish of the Crock Pot. It blends well with the large stainless appliances in my kitchen. While using, this sleek looking crock pot looks nice sitting on the counter or left on the counter at all times. This slow cooker is wonderful for slow cooking soups or for cooking an entire meal. The removable stoneware crock is so versatile. It can be used in the slow cooker, in the oven or the microwave. There are so many wonderful, tasty all in one dinner recipes on many of the social media outlets. You can safely turn the slow cooker to low, leave for work and return to a fabulous meal. Clean up is a breeze! Both the lid and removable stoneware crock are dishwasher safe! I do recommend this slow cooker to others. Rush out and get yours, find a great slow cooker recipe and get started today!

I love a good Crock Pot!! This makes life so much easier! This beautiful stainless steel look gives a more expensive vibe! It’s 7qt and perfect for a large family or getting ready for a gathering. Would be a wonderful way to make a dip for parties and keep it warm while looking nice! It has low, medium, high cooking temps and a warm setting too! I love using this for soups on cold days also! Start a meal in the morning and come home from work in the evening and BAM dinner is done! Love this!

I received this Crock-Pot Manual 7- Quart slow cooker this is stainless steel. This has what is my favorite feature which is the warm settings. Also cooking on low or high is available. I love the warm it is absolutely the best as my kids and boyfriend love to eat multiply times a day with the crockpot dishes. This is a beautiful set the stainless steel is clean and shiny and the black accent is sooo nice in my kitchen. This is not a severely heavy set and is easy to move around in the kitchen. The handles are plastic which I love as my old set lid was all glass and got very hot. Absolutely love how this cooks and cooks everything evenly. Definatly recommend this Crock pot.

I used my crockpot for the first time to make taco soup. The crockpot heats up quickly. Cooks food evenly and holds the heat in really well. I love how big the 7 quart crockpot is. It’s a lot of room for bigger meats like roast and even a whole chicken could fit. I also love the fact that it had a “warm” setting. So when my soup was done, I just put it on warm and it stayed warm until it was time to eat. The only downfall is the outside of the crockpot gets really hot and will burn you. Other than that, I give it a 10/10. Highly recommend, especially for the size and how fast it gets hot.

I have always been a fan of how easy slow cookers were for prepping soups, stews and dips and since we have received it, we have used it 2x. Once for New Years with our sauerkraut and pork and this last night when we made a beef chuck roast. It works very well at heating up quickly and holds a seriously large quantity of food with it being 7- Quarts. The lid did make a small popping noise and the handle on the lid seems to turn as it clicks. I wasn't sure if it was because this model doesn't have a ventilation hole like some of them do. And the only other downside was that it doesn't have the side clips that secure the lid to the base to make for easy storage and traveling purposes. I am very pleased to have this in my kitchen arsenal, though!

I was sent this product to test and decided to try a new recipe. I found it to be pretty easy to use since there's only one knob but I'd definitely prefer a timer function because I like to know I can set and forget it. However, this still worked well and is a more affordable choice if you are not sure about using crock pots and want to start simple. I tested out a honey garlic chicken roast that included boneless skinless chicken thighs, carrots, potatoes, and asparagus. We then served it over rice so the rice could soak up the flavor. The chicken cooked perfectly! I will say the potatoes and carrots needed more time and the asparagus (put it in toward the later quarter of cooking) was overcooked, so it may take me a few tries to get down the timing.

[Rewarded Review] Super Convenient, tried and true

I have used this version for many years and think its a grest addition to any kitchen. For this test I made crock pot hot cocoa and it was everything i expected it to be. My only complaint with crock pot is the cord length, i would love one a few inches longer. This one does not have an auto shut off which i do like on the other ine i own, but i would definitely buy this one still, my old one was red until i accidentallymelted the knob, oops.

I enjoy using the classic Crock-pot. The stainless steel outside makes it easy to clean and the removable insert is a must for cleaning up after cooking. The outside gets a little hot when it is on the high setting. The warm feature is so helpful when it comes to your family eating at different times. This is the easiest to use of all crockpots with no frills but it gets the job done well.

I was so happy to claim this crockpot, I needed one and had been looking around for awhile. So when this came up I jumped on it. I do wish I would of claimed the digital one but this one is so big and I love that it's stainless steel. Cleanup is so easy and it looks so sleek and nice. Love all the settings not only do you get high and low but also warm. So great #crockpot #claimnow #claim #free #cookingcare #cooking #cook

Broke after only second use

I had the exact same experience as previous reviewer Jengraham. I received the 7 quart oval model as a wedding gift 3.5 years ago. I finally got to unpack all my gifts and open the Crockpot for the first time last month. Mine worked fine on low for 6 hours the first time, but during the second use on low for 8 hours my oval insert developed several microscopic cracks and leaked into the metal heating base. I smelled burning, had a mess burned onto the inside of the metal base and it had leaked all over my countertop and everything that was on the counter.

Cooks to Hot ON 10hr setting aka LOW

I had the older version of this with the heavy thick lid. Well I chipped the lid and instead of trying to find a replacement I went a head and bought the same model ( yes I pulled the model # off the product) because I did like the idea of a not so heavy lid. I make very few things in my crock pot. Ever since I got the Update version it has always burned my chicken and Noodles despite being on low. Is is literally BOILING a few hours into cooking. How does a LOW setting equal to BOILING?? I’m deeply disturbed that I let my older version go!!! I want it back so bad!!! I’m tired of my food burning at the end!!! The other issue is that you cannot select Warm on this digital version, it just defaults to it after the timed hours have elapsed. I feel like that is another huge fail. I want to know what the specific degree settings are for each option 4, 6, 8, 10 hrs on the updated version versus the older version. Please give more specifics as I now need a new crock pot!!!
