Quiet
Quiet unit, reasonable install, tiny directions
The unit is quiet as advertised, perhaps not as quiet as some of the Panasonic units I've purchased from Build.com recently. In this laundry room soffit application it wasn't possible to flush an Aria vent surround in the ceiling, so I liked the clean modern look of the exposed cover (in silver). Installation was relatively straightforward. The scissoring mounting frame was helpful putting it in the ceiling (almost new construction situation) but it was a pain keeping it square. The electrical connection was prewired with Romex, after mounting the fan the Romex was connected to a junction box in the attic.
It was easy to install, sound is super low, we had our previous one from the 90s. Shipping was slower than expected but other than that everything came in perfect.

This model fan has no light !! Title says with light but photo and part number do not reflect that. Correct part number for the lighted version is ABF 80L6
