Not for all ceilings
Fan is solid, quiet and looks nice but beware it may be tricky to install on anything other than 1/2" ceiling. The fact that it fits larger duct doesn't leave much room between the nail flange and the exhaust outlet to wedge around ceiling drywall. I have 2 layers of 5/8 on my ceiling and had to finely cut out the bottom layer with a multi tool to allow the hosing to fit without out cutting beyond the area of the slim trim cover. Definitely would've been tough if I didn't have access above the ceiling.

I purchased three of these for a new home build. This was an expensive mistake. Light/fan has only been in use for 6 months and the light partially burnt out. You cannot replace the light. I purchased these ahead of the build and now the one year warranty on the light has expired. Unbelievable. $250 throwaway fan. Wayfair has no option other than to purchase the whole assembly. Very disappointed.
Super quiet, but powerful. I didnt realize the install required going into the attic, but luckily my cousin is an electrician. He had the old one out and new one in within an hour, easily, maybe 30 min. And that included being patient with a 4 year old wanting to help.
