This is the second heater we purchased. We chose not to move the first across country. It puts out a lot of heat and covers a wide area.

Good Product

Easy to assemble. Worked great. In windy conditions flame is affected. Must purchase some sand to weigh down according to instructions. Sturdy even in windy conditions.

Super flimsy, crooked base from factory

I thought I'd spend a little more to get a better quality unit but this is still super cheap. The top of the base doesn't even fit the main cylinder of the base (see photo). I had to drill out the rivets and try to straighten it but it's too small, so it just kind of hovers on the base without seating properly. More cheap imported junk.

Stay away from this!!

Too bad I can’t give a zero star for the rating! We bought this product in March, at the beginning of covid as we wanted to gather with friends and family outside. Was hard to light the first time but after 20 minutes, we got it and had a great time. But that was it. Was so hard to light everytime after, even after hours spent on cleaning the entry of the pilot tube, it’s going into garbage. Stay away from this product. I would not have minded paying an extra $100 or $200 for a product that is worth it. This is not eco friendly, I feel bad to dispose this product after so much little usage. But we tried hard and it’s just too much time spent on trying to light the freeking thing and we can now see the rust coming.... There is absolutely no pleasure, defeats the purpose of buying it. Look for someting else! I heard an electric heating blanket does a great job! I think I will try that... :)

Great heater.

Have had this heater about a month. Easy to assemble. Throws off a nice amount of heat. Also easy to lite. Base could be a bit larger or have extensions like my last month for more sturdiness. Filled the base with kitty litter but still a bit dodgy in a stronger wind. Also would be nice to fit a 30 pound tank in it like the previous one I owned. Does what I expected. A good purchase.

Great! It looks just like the picture and will definitely keep you warm on a cold evening. Remember to buy sand for the bottom. Overall great

Highly recommend this item!

Very easy to put together. Worked like a charm when I turned it on. Kept me warm on a pretty chilly night. I had to fix the door to the propane tank but it was an easy fix. Other than that I highly recommend this item and will consider getting another one!

Not only was this patio heater easy to assemble, but it's both quite powerful and very attractive. . , . I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one.

Works well, good value

Went together well even though instructions are not that detailed it's pretty self explanatory. The pilot was a bit of an issue to light however that is due to label not in correct spot. I think that many other people are probably in the same boat. The dial must be in the nine o'clock position to light the pilot. If you are in the ten or eleven spots as the label suggest s it will take forever to light...if you manage to get it to light.

The Hiland patio heater was sturdy and easy to assemble, it has a hidaway door for propane tank and wheels for easy movement, great value for price.

Quality Patio heater. Easy to put together, emits great heat, complete with table and sand reservoir for stability. Recommend.

Came completely destroyed. Entire side was smashed in. Overstock called me a few minutes after I finish the return process and is sending me another one. The packaging was terrible, nothing to protect the sides from being damaged., I am anticipating the same thing happening if they don't fix the packaging.

Great patio heater!

Gave this to my son and daughter in law as a Christmas gift. They really like it!! Looks great on their patio.
