Longest lasting ever

When I was hired for my present position, this lamp was one of the furniture purchases for me in a newly created position. That was 25 years ago. T/he bulg just burned out for the first time. It is an awesome lamp for my desk as I read a lot and have been advised by a retina specialist not to use overhead lights. So this is my go to. I just can't find out the proper bulbs. I purchased three ... and none fit. Any advice is appreciated.

Great value for a nice LED desk lamp

I had a halogen version of a similar light that got much hotter but the transformer burned out. I bought this one with LED as a replacement. Works great and stays very cool. Great value

LED efficient and improved

Replaced an incandescent one I had for two decades and I like it even better since they added a dimmer.

Bulb replacement

I have the original model, maybe 20 years old, which works fine but the bulb just burned out. With no info on bulb, I don't know which bi-pin bulb I need to order to replace it. An answer to that would be appreciated!

Good light, easy to adjust

This style of lamp has been my "go to" lamp for my home office for years (I have 2 on my desk), mainly for the amount of light they put out and they fit my desk area and are adjustable. The only downside, they put off heat that can add unnecessary warmth to the room. To me, a small price to pay for the convenience.

Very solid lamp

This is a very well made lamp and should last for years. The only thing that I would desire is to be able to rotate the head lamp left and right. This is probably not possible with the existing construction. I just rotate the entire lamp on its base when I want to change the left-right focus of the lamp.

Replacing an Original

I had an original model of this lamp for 20+ years, and it finally died - apparently a dead transformer. I looked at a variety of other lamps, but came back to this one as being almost identical, except for the lamp hood itself (my old one was more oval, this one is circular). The new light works well, and I like the addition of the three position switch with two levels of brightness. The cantilever mechanism looks identical, but seems to lack some of the weight of the old unit, and the overall boom length is perhaps about 1 inch shorter, although the specs indicate the same size. The base also seems lighter. So far, the light performs well.

Just want I was looking for

This was a replacement for the same lamp I had for years and matched a second lamp we have.
