Don’t do it

It looks beautiful in the pictures, but once I received it and try to hook it up the chain was too short to connect. I had to put all that stuff back in the box then take it back to Kohl’s drag that heavy box which was like 60-70 pounds into the store and return it. The Company that makes this hammock crap include a longer chain or extra pieces to connect the chain to the pole. I was highly upset Having to return it because I was really looking forward to having a relaxing evening, swinging in my hammock in my backyard. I will never buy online. I will actually see in person. For example, I will buy one from Home Depot before I buy another hammock online With zero reviews.

I’m waiting for warmer weather to use the hammock but it looks like I was expecting & hoping it looked

Great hammock

Love it! It was easy to set up. I've used it regularly since I got it. Yes, the cotton stretched out, but that's what cotton hammocks do. It's easy to adjust it. It feels stable when I'm in it. As with any hammock, you've gotta be careful climbing in & out, but the supports themselves are solid & stable.

Not sturdy!

The stand was very light-weight and not at all sturdy. The only good thing about it was that I could pick it up by myself to move it. Returned it as soon as it was put together.

Chain rusted with a month. Stand too small

The chain for the hammock is already rusty after using it for less than a month outside. The hammock stand also feels too small for the hammock. When sitting in it with the hammock stretched as far as it will go, it drops down to about a foot off the ground. And I only weigh 175lbs. I should have returned it while i had the chance.

It is exactly what I wanted, a strong rope hammock with a light but sturdy stand, so I can move it into the shade or sun easily.

I am 6' and 185 lbs. This combination hammock and stand is excellent for my needs. There are seven chain links on each end of the hammock. I started with the last link on each end. After a couple times in the hammock, I placed the hammock on the stand hook at the fourth link. This is the second Algoma 11' hammock I've owned. The first one was purchased over ten years ago and is still in use at our summer cottage. Stretching is normal for a rope hammock. I fell asleep in it the first time I used it.
