INCLUDE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PUT THE CARTRIDGE IN ON THE HOT SIDE. SIMPLE ONCE YOU KNOW. THE HANDY MAN SPENT AN HOUR TRYING TO PUT IT IN.

Planned annoyance

It seems like you should be able to replace an o-ring and be done with it. Instead you have to live with a dripping faucet until this is back in stock. Then it only lasts a couple of years, at best.

Works no thanks to company instructions

I ordered the part at the store but I never received a notification that it had come in, I just happen to be at the store and checked on it. I had the same issue as many others, my hot side was the issue and I thought I got the wrong part, but after converting it from cold to hot with instructions from another reviewer I was able to correct it and fix it. The bolt that comes with it doesn’t fit, so you may have to use the original old bolt.

Handy BBQ chicken flipper

Made turning chicken thighs and legs easier then using tongs when cooking them in BBQ sauce..less messy and kept the sauce on the chicken instead of the tongs. The "leather strip" to hang broke immediately..might want to use heavier cording. The flipper is a nice accessory to have.

Here's the installation instructions to convert from cold to hot

It's mind bogging that the company doesn't supply this information on a piece of paper. If you're installing this on the hot side (most likely, since people use hot in the faucet more than cold) this is what you do before you install the cartridge. Look at the picture of the cartridge on here. See that rubber o-ring at the base of the copper nub where you attach the faucet handle? Remove that o ring. Now take that little metal stopper just below the o-ring. Remove it and turn it clockwise 90 degrees. Put that stopper back on in the new position. Then put the o-ring back on. Now install the cartridge. Should work now.

The cartridge itself fit the faucet perfectly and repaired the leak it was purchased to repair, however the nut supplied did not fit and I had to use the old nut to secure it in place. Fortunately the old nut was not the source of the leak and I had saved all of the old parts until I was sure the new parts worked properly. Don’t throw away the old parts before you know they are truly junk!

Product does not float

Easy to replace and elicits the feeling I can overcome all obstacles. Good product for price. If the product were great, we wouldn't be replacing it on a rarely used spare bath sink. Warning, product does not float.

The part comes ready for installation on the cold side. No instructions included as to what you had to do to install on the hot side. WE AREN’T ALL PLUMBERS !!!!!

Exact replacement for Covina American Standard bathroom faucets. product made in Mexico. I did have to remove the Top O ring and reposition the bow tie to get it to work as it should, but this is not unexpected it's a universal part that can be used on either side or either hot or cold
