I ordered two of these toilets. Placed in safe storage in my home, handled with care and no drops. When I finally had the time to install them, upon opening the boxes, one of the two units was damaged. The base of one of the toilets was broken off and the tank had a crack! The other unit was okay, but you could tell they were sold and returned. I am wondering if they just sent me returned toilets without checking them? Or poor delivery. These were in storage for over a year, so I could not return the damaged one. My advice, check your deliveries soon. I will see if the manufacturer will honor their warrenty.

Great toilet

Works great and very efficient with less water. We replaced a 25 year old American Standard Cadet that had the main jet calcified with minerals. Wish we could’ve gotten the Linen color in a retail store however.

The Cadet PRO2 performed as expected. Strong flush using minimal water. We’ve had the product for approximately thirty days and have had no issues.

I ordered on a Sunday and received it by Tuesday morning. The toilet was an easy install and is working well.

Disappointed

American Standard use to be a good name. I would think twice now. Bought a toilet at Home Depot in Tullytown, PA. After my contractor installed I saw a two inch black spot and no glaze on the outside. He returned it and got another one and installed. There were two raised bumps on the outside I'll have to be careful when cleaning. You need to step up your quality control inspections. Disappointed. Only good feature it worked well.

Perfect fit

Old school technology that performs as expected. Simple installation with well written instructions. Works well and fits in my 1970 built home where bathrooms were designed for function not as a spare room

how me i return this toilet , i leave the box onsite in my storage because i plan to bring to my aunt this weekend and i open the big box and wend i remove the box inside were the toilet are i not even open the little box pieces off glass came out off the side of the box and sound like broken glass. how me i return this boxes full off pieces off glasses, me i open the box to send a pictures?

In need of missing toilet seat.

The toilet itself is ok. The fact that it arrived without a toilet seat was not okay. The item arrived on June 30, and on July 5th I hired someone to install it. After installation, he asked me for the toilet seat and I told him that it should have been in the box with the commode. Needless to say, it was not

Right fit in my small master bath

This toilet is apparently a little different than the retail model, it comes with a metal flush handle. I needed a small toilet for my 48 inch wide master bath and I have zero complaints with it. I spent weeks and money trying to stop my old toilet from leaking and after reading about this model online decided it was the one. I bought it locally and installed it myself and I am no plumber. The directions were clear and easy to follow. I had to purchase the wax ring and water supply line both inexpensive. Its a two piece and I followed the instructions as directed and when I finished 2.5 months ago this toilet has not leaked or given me any trouble what so ever. It flushes completely it really does. I wanted a one piece elongated toilet but my master bath just is not large enough for one. I am completely satisfied with this toilet. There was nothing intimidating about putting it together and installing it.

Great fit in my small bathrooms

We bought two of these 6 years ago to save water and replace one blue and one pink toilets original to our house. This size fit to allow a door to close in one bathroom and mount in the 10" to wall our existing drains are positioned. The second has a shower entrance beyond the toilet, this size allows comfortable access that an elongated toilet would not. We have been very pleased with the function and comfort of these toilets. I originally had only one slow close seat, a year ago I bought a second slow close seat, because of the added convenience.

Excellent choice for 1.28 gpf low flow toilet

We need to replace two old toilets with new ones that meet the new 1.28 gpf required by state of CA. We did not want dual flush (more moving parts) or anything exotic (hard to find parts), but wanted better quality than what is available at big-box DIY stores. Prices vary widely, advise checking with commercial plumbing supply, some sell at near wholesale prices and some of them will sell to individual homeowners. Fancy plumbing showrooms are much more expensive. Also recommend the American Standard soft close seat. Very happy with our choice, they work really well.

Does what it says it will do

After doing a lot of research and watching the videos on how they flush, I purchased 2 Cadet 3 toilets. To say that they performed better than I expected would be an understatement, they really work as advertised or should I say they work better than advertised. They really do stay cleaner than the old toilets. With many products it is not until you have a problem do you find out what kind of company and product you have bought. I had a small leak at the flapper on one of my toilets and I emailed American Standard about it, they sent me a replacement part that took care of the problem. In my opinion not only do they have a great product, they have a excellent customer service department. The only criticism will probably be from my neighbors and friends who thought I was done talking about how great American Standard products are.
