First time using a smoker

After an hour of research, we smoked two whole chickens last night and they turned out perfect. Very happy with this purchase.

Grill was easy to assemble, but will not stay at a stable temperature. Temperature will not get above warm. Heating element kept going on and off. It took 7 hours to cook a rack of ribs on high heat.

Good assembly instructions. Grill feature was a bonus.

Piece of Junk

Brand new this summer. Used it a total of three times. The heating element cuts in and out causing heat to dissipate, prolonging cook time and essentially ruining not only the food, but the entire experience. Nothing more fun than standing over a hot smoker on a muggy summer evening, manually holding the heat controller/heating element connection in place trying to coax the stupid thing to finish cooking your meal. Cheaply made, poor workmanship, and since it's too late to get my money back, it's going out curbside tomorrow headed to the scrap heap where it belongs. R.I.P.

May have to buy a better element as it struggles to maintain 225 degrees consistently. The signage within the store directing people for store delivery could be a lot better though.

I would purchase again

Used my smoker for the first time, smoking a whole chicken. Temperature set at 250 degrees and held for the entire time line for 5 hours. Very happy!!

It was made to be electric only which would only steam the protein. The part that plugged into the unit was not what I expected. Seemed to be poor quality.

Love it.

Been using charcoal for years. This is my first electric smoker. Works good with Hickory chunks. Easier cleanup.

I LOVE IT THIS IS MY 3RD ONE OF THESE IN THE LAST 30 YEARS. EASY!!!!

Assembly instructions are not the best!

The bolts, screws and nuts came loose in a bag, the pictures in the instructions did not label the hardware very well, making it a tad tough for this 60+ grandma to assemble. After a bit of frustration, I got the thing put together. Had a little difficulty getting the controller into the heating element as it required some muscle and arthritic hands don't do that well. Just wanted to let folks knowable this if they have the same limitations. All that being said, I am looking forward to trying it out!

Smokin

Bought this for my son in law. He loves it. The only thing that is a negative is the temperature setting. It has low medium high.

Received damaged

Arrived dented and bent. Now have to return which is a pain.

Very poor construction for American made. Expected much better. I would not recommend this.

After putting it all together, it does not work. Dies not heat up.

Smoking

First time smoking sausage and meats and this is fantastic!

Wish it had been better. Bought it twice. Returned it twice. The door that opens both to the heat and the liquid bowl open at the same time by sliding but the rivets that hold it were too tight and the thin metal bends, so the door won’t close.

Price and shipping was good no damage when delivered. Easy to assemble. Just needs better temperature thermometer.

Not as good as advertised

The smoker not as great as the high end ones. Took forever to smoke a ham. Wouldn’t recommend

Outstanding smoker simple and best of all easy to keep clean.

Product arrived missing several parts along with the instruction manual. Luckily, we were able to make it work since no major parts were missing.
