A hazard

The chair appear to be well made, has good instructions, and is relatively easy to assemble but is extremely unstable. If you attempt to steady yourself using the back, even with minimal pressure, the chair flips over. This chair can be very dangerous for an elderly person. I would have expected better from Moen.

Lighter and Better

I bought this shower chair for my mom and she loves it! It's lighter than the chair she previously used. So even if she's showering by herself, she can carry the chair into the shower without major issues. The handles on the side are immense help. It's also wider than her previous chair, so she's more comfortable while sitting on it.

Medical Bath Chair

Our organization purchased this shower chair for one our tenants that requires accessible accommodations. They were very grateful for the chair that helps them to bathe safer. My only issue with the product is that depending on the width of the tub, the chair has to sit length ways (meaning the back of the chair faces the bath tiles on the longer side of the tub. Also it would be good to get a grippy mat (one that doesn't cause the person to slip or fail in the tub) with this product.

Very nice and sturdy,especially for someone who has a disability or some type of surgery. The seat capacity is 250 lbs,but my weight exceeds that by 35 additional pounds,very easy to assemble 15-20 mins.

This was too small for my husband. He's tall, so to have the seat at a comfortable height, the chair doesn't feel secure if he leans agains the back rest.
