[Rewarded Review] You'll Never Want to Use a Key Again!
After spending time with the Yale Assure Lock 2, I don’t think I can ever go back to using an old, “dumb” lock. I’m not sure if one can call a door lock a game changer, but I certainly think this counts!
[Rewarded Review] Simple and uses AA batteries
I did not realize till I downloaded the Yale Access App that Yale and August were one in the same. Went to set up my lock and it said I already had an account and already showed my old lock. So, it was already somewhat familiar in how the directions were straight forward and step by step through the app. The included install guide also has pages that you use to help measure and possibly cut holes in the door if that is what you need to do. However, having already had a deadbolt in my door it was simply remove a few screws, pull all the parts out and put the new ones in.

The Yale Assure Lock 2 is a well built/easy to install door lock that will look good anywhere. I installed it within 20 minutes, you receive everything you need including batteries the wifi/doorsense module and multiple size of screws to fit just about all doors. All of the instructions are clearly laid out which makes the installation a breeze.
[Rewarded Review] Easy Install, Works Flawlessly
Yale did a great job designing an easy to install, easy to set up smart lock. This is our second Yale smart lock, but our first with wifi connectivity. Our front door is a standard, solid core door 1.75" thick. How did I know this? Because Yale was smart enough to include, in the instruction book, a "ruler" page to help you determine (1) how thick your door is, (2) where your deadbolt opening should be centered, (3) how wide your deadbolt hole is if pre-drilled, and (4) where to mark your door to drill a hole if necessary. Determining the thickness also helps you determine what set of screws/bolts you will use in the installation. In my case: BLACK.
