Very Satisfied!

This GE Disposall was purchased to replace a Waste King 1/2 HP unit that was in service for over 20 years and had begun to leak from the bottom. The 1-star reviews for the otherwise highly rated brands (Insinkerator, Waste King, etc.) really bothered me, particularly those mentioning poor quality of workmanship and early failure. The price was right on this GE model and it had all the features I wanted. It installed DIY very easily, has been in service for about two weeks, and so far it has been excellent. It passed my personal test, which is a drumstick chicken bone, with flying colors. It is relatively quiet, and the feature I like the most is the Drain Boost technology which will keep clogs from forming in the drain. The price was right and shipping was free and fast -- can't beat a deal like this!

GE Garbage Disposal

It has only been installed less than a week. But it was easy to get installed along with the dishwasher I purchased. It quiet & works just like the model I had prior whic was also a GE & lasted for almost 19 years.

Not happy customer

Have one currently that the outer case split open. Didn't want to change plumbing so bought another. Not happy with product right now. Let's see if second one lasts longer than the first one. If not I will change brands.
