I needed to make a cheater cord for a customers donut fryer (so they could run a generator for it on their food truck), and this was the option. It terminated really easily and in no way that would risk exposed parts grounding in the box. I don't know how many cycles of plug in and unplug it'll do before the contacts burn up but honestly they wont need to plug in and unplug that many times. it worked and the price was right

I bought this for a heater in my shop. I do have it wired into a single gang Allied P241 box with 10/2 wire and it fits just fine without going over box fill allowance. So, if that describes your situation, then know that it does fit into a single gang box.
