Perfect for Boat BBQ

It is the right size to easily use on the boat BBQ. While a bit smaller in size than the unavailable OEM BBQ griddle, this one serves the purpose and works fine.

Another great lodge product

I bought this with the intent of using it for two purposes - a grill pan, and as a base for my dutch oven, on my camp chef stove. The first - as a grill pan, worked great. I preheated it on my grill, then threw on some pierogies, venison kielbasa, onions and other veggies for a quick and easy meal. It cleaned up with a plastic scraper I use for my iron pans (don't use metal scrapers or spatulas). The second purpose - as a dutch oven base - is an idea to be use my camp chef stove to keep the dutch oven up off the ground. I will wait until the pan is very well seasoned later this summer before attempting it. But the dutch oven will fit on the pan, and there's still enough room for the briquette's to fit around it's base. The stove already has a wind break - so it should work just as well as the camp chef table? Idk, but will make it work for my purpose. I like that the pan has holes in the handles, it allowed me to stick the end of my wooden spatula in them to turn the pan, while on the grill. It is heavy duty, but not as thick iron as some of their larger (12") fry pans. Not as thin as their Black Lock series either. Lastly, be wary of bad reviews of any brand of iron cookware - where the user talks about rust, or metallic taste to their food - they don't know how to use iron cookware properly. If you have questions about seasoning iron pans - cooking with them, or cleaning them properly => go to Kent Rollins Youtube channel, or go on the Lodge website - both are great resources. This is a good american company that makes decent cookware for a great price, and has been around for more than a hundred years. (And I'm not getting paid to say any of this...)

Use cast iron in your travel trailer oven

It fits in my camper oven. Things bake without burning when using cast iron in camper ovens. Regular baking sheets don’t do well

I love Lodge cast iron. This is very versatile and can be used for so many things. I use it to make pancakes on an open fire. This is an item that will last for life with proper care.
