Nice and quiet The air conditioner is working well to cool off my bedroom. I live in Florida

It doesn’t cool the space as advertised. The fan would not work, so I am returning it. Not happy with this product.

Broke within a week of use

After a week of use, the product started making weird grinding sounds when the AC was active. At first, I could mitigate the sound for a few days by readjusting the unit. Unfortunately, after one week of constantly adjusting the unit, the grinding sound was present no matter how I oriented the unit. Extremely disappointed that I wasted $400 dollars. I relied on this unit heavily as my only source of cool air and it really let me down. Not worth the risk.

Great value

Pros- Cools my room fast. Within 15 minutes lowered the temperature a few degrees. I can turn off my central air and just use this to cool my bedroom at night. Conserves energy. It is pretty easy to set up. You can set the temperature cool to where the remote is, not just right in front of this AC that makes the temperature I set on the remote that cools the room to where the remote is, not just right next to the unit. Cons- Noisy. The white noise it gives off is not quiet. It doesn't run continously when the temperature hits the setting, it shuts down, then automatically switches back on until the temperature in the room raises. The transition startles me when I run this at night and wakes me up. Over all, the price is great for what you get

The best thing I’ve invested in! It’s great and cools my room super fast. Only downside is that it’s a little loud, but my room feels like a winter wonderland and that’s what matters the most in this summer weather lol. 10/10 highly recommend!

Working well.. there was a bit of a rattle from the vents in back so had to anage that. The tube vent to the window kit was a bit much. Kept coming out but finally managed and I don't like that the vents where the cold air comes from are stationary .. other than those 3 things which are not biggies. This thing is cool and efficient.. oh noisy so if you're a light sleeper .. not sure how you'd fair

Overall good unit. I have a small room and I haven’t gone past the first speed in AC mode. The room gets nice and cold. The dehumidifying mode isn’t bad either. In my opinion the easiest way to deal with draining is to have the continuous draining using the hose provided. It is a gravity drain so the unit will need to be elevated quite a bit for the water to come out the drain continuously. I’m pleased with the unit.

We have purchased many B&D products over the years and knew that their ACs would be a good choice. So I purchased not just 1 but 2 at the same time from Home Depot.com. But it's been an unusual year so far that we haven't had to use them, just to install them and try them out. The installation was a breeze by the way. Though summer is about to get started around here and their time will come.

Good, well functioning machine. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I had to use masking tape on the back cover to keep it from trembling/making noise.

We've used this for a few years now and it's done the job. It's not expensive to run. It cools down a small sweet of rooms very quickly. It *is* loud, however, we don't mind the trade off. We plan on bringing it with us to camp this year.

So far, so good but to be fair I only used it twice so far and it is not super hot/humid yet, It cools nicely. The remote works easily but batteries do not come with it (2-AAA’s). It is big and needs a good corner of the room for space. Easy install in my double hung bedroom window…10 minutes tops. If you are sensitive to noise this makes some…just saying.

Works great for small rooms. Takes a while to get the window insert cut to fit correctly.

This item was just a waste of time

This is not a portable air conditioner that anybody should buy. Totally horrible get your room cool for about 15 minutes and then it's back to being extremely hot I would not recommend this to anyone
