Insufficient information

Was unable to make it work properly. Prongs did not line up to activate power. And no where to find out how to adjust prongs to make it work properly .

I installed 3 this evening. I'm very pleased with their brightness...no need to turn on ceiling lights to see. Wish the price was less, but will buy more very soon..!

junk, not worth the money

I purchased this product directly from SnapPower. When I installed I noticed it never shut off. Even in a brightly lite room with windows it did not shut off. I shined a flashlight into the sensor and it did go off but will not with the lights on and light coming in our windows.

Maybe this works for brand new outlets, but my house was built in the 50's. Those white prongs just had to spread apart so far to go around the screws holding the electrical wires. After many attempts to try and push it in place they eventually broke off. And without them it's just a cover like any other cover. My sister's house is new and hers worked just fine. I had to throw it away.

Very easy to install with just one screw to remove old plate and install new plate. The “Plus” line provides for two light intensities, which is great for bedrooms where a lower light intensity might be preferred. Installed in several locations in my home, they have received several compliments from visitors as they blend well and provide for a nightlight without blocking an outlet. Also receive compliments for purchasing some as a housewarming gift.

What a great purchase! It's so nice coming down the stairs at night without having to turn on lights! I love that it turns off during the day too. The light is a pretty shade of white. Definatly recommend!

These are great products! We ordered this and the GuideLight 2. Both came only 2 days after we placed our order. The packaging looked nice. My husband only took 5 minutes or fewer to install each one. They both work great. We love having night lights that come on automatically and that our kids can't mess with. I like that this one has an on/off switch so that you can disable the light if you want to. The on/off switch also has two brightness options, which is nice. We also like that it's an outlet cover, not an actual outlet, so we were able to use it over the child-proof outlets we already have. Also, just a side note...if you have dimming lights, the GuideLight will stay on until you increase the brightness in the room to a certain level. The only con is that they are a little pricey, but they are good quality.

One of the outlets in my bathroom is upside down and this light is perfect for that outlet. It stays on all night long, which makes getting up in the middle of the night simple without waking others up with the regular bright lights.

This is exactly what I expected. To top it off it was delivered 4 days before expected delivery date. I will be definitely buying more to replace covers in my entire house. I Don't have to find a light switch run so I dont hit into the wall in the middle of the night. I would say this must have.
