Poor fitting cross member

It is a pretty nice pole, but the cross member was kind of cheap and not an exact fit.

Perfect replacement for my broken lamp pole. Would have like the cross member to be made of metal rather than plastic. Otherwise it was excellent.

This replaced an existing old white lamp post and so far is doing the job well. It’s sleek, sturdy, and is a nice accent for the front of our home.

I was so happy to find this post! It is reasonably priced and looks great with my solar lamp. The quality is good and it arrived in good condition. I didn't want to cememnt the actual pole, so I cemented a pvc pipe 4ft down and fed the post over top. I just buried about a foot of the actual post. Only mistake I made was forgetting to drill a hole through the pvc for the cross arm. I'll eventually get that worked out.

The pole came well-wrapped and in good condition. It was exactly what I needed for my solar light fixture. Dig a hole deep enough to properly secure the pole and presto you have a nice looking outdoor light.

1 of the poles are bent %26 scratched. Also, the knobs on the cross peace are a different color.

Post itself is fine, cross piece is plastic and suspect as to how long it will last compared to the metal post. In addition it does not lock in position and can be pushed back and forth easily.

Works for what I am doing with it.

I am not using the full length of the pole. I made a portable pole light by cutting about a foot off the pole and inserting the pole into a base (height with base about 6'6"). Long spikes are used to secure the base above ground and is plugged in using an extension cord. It is more a decorative piece for various occasions.

Pro's and Con's

Post is well built of metal and easy to install. The cross bar is not as well built and does not lock into place. I had to glue it to prevent movement.

The lamp does not stay on and is not bright...
