It's not good at all
Has not worked since it's arri al
Ok but not great
Top came dented. Temp control not accurate.
Great buy!
The grill is heavy duty. Assembly is better done with 2 people. This unit came with two temperature probes. The dial is a little confusing for an old man. I have already smoked some ribs and a meatloaf. I like the ease of use. I can't wait to cook a brisket or a pork butt.
great smoker
camp chef is awesome works great assembly was easy
First timer
First pellet grill and I’m loving it! Great price for a great grill!
[Rewarded Review]
I wanted the best pellet smoker I could get for under $****. Prior to this I wasn't familiar with the Camp Chef product line other than I'd heard it in radio advertising. When researching pellet smokers online, Camp Chef kept coming up with great reviews, then I found an awesome price at walmart.com. Me = so happy!
Rusts within 2 1/2 years!!!
Don’t waste your money! This will rust within a few years of purchase and they will not warranty it. They want you to buy new parts. I would highly recommend Traeger smokers. My dad has one and hasn’t had any problems.
Wonderful grill after I burned the new off of it
I thought that this was a great grill but then I noticed that it didn't have the thermometry with it and now I will have to put my own on it.
My review
Perfect for me. I have a couple of questions for someone in customer support. I haven't reached out yet.
Great Smoker for a first time user
I had some doubts about this purchase... I wasn't sure if I made the right choice since this was a birthday present for my husband. However, it arrived on time and wasn't as heavy as someone mentioned in the review. It is so easy to use - even I could've done well. Works great!
Love this pellet grill! Worth the $!
Husband is totally loving cooking on it. Set it and forget comes to mind as this auto feeds the pellets in. Just don’t use any of the waxed pellets and you will be just fine!
Great smoker for the money. I love it. But after 1 use the easy ash clean out became distorted with the heat and was not able to slide at all. Other than that this is a great smoker.
Best on the market for price
Great entry level smoker, price is a big factor. Found this on sale for $299 Black Friday. It’s got a lot of nice features such as the ash clean out pot, PID, etc. Smokes great and temperature stays within range (5-10 degrees in my experience). My favorite is baby back ribs slow cooked.
Perfect smoker.
Love the grill, set it and forget it. Did a beer can chicken and it turned out delicious. Tender and juicy.
Another Happy Camp Chef Pellet Grill Owner
After much contemplation I purchased this Camp Chef Smoke Pro SE grill from WM 6 months ago and just love it! This is my first pellet fueled grill and couldn’t be happier. My favorite is cooking low and slow meats on the grill. I start the slow cooking meats before bedtime and let it go overnight. You know the ones, briskets, beef ribs, etc. You fill the hopper with pellets, set the grill at 205° (Smoke level 5.) and when you wake in the morning it’s time to wrap, tent or mop, what ever your style. Results are very tender, juicy meats with a nice smoke ring and smokiness. With a little help from aluminum foil, cleanup is a breeze which is important after cooking heavy grease producers like whole chickens and pork shoulders for the best pulled pork. Living out West Tri Tip roasts are popular and this grill does a great job with Tri Tips with just salt, pepper, garlic powder and oak pellets. Enough about the meat and back to the grill. The 2 included meat probes come in handy as you can monitor your cooking without having to raise the lid and loose your heat. The ash dump slide valve works well and is much easier than getting the shop vac out every time you cook as suggested with other brands. The digital controller has been problem free and hasn’t missed a beat. I have checked the temp with a 2nd digital thermometer and the Camp Chef has been spot on. On the down side the grill doesn’t have a second level grate. My work around is I purchased a grate that is 8”x 24”x 5” tall. It stands on top of the original grate and allows a 2nd level of cooking to add a couple chickens or a rack of ribs. This Camp Chef Smoke Pro SE grill has been absolutely trouble free and I highly recommend Camp Chef Pellet Grills.
Awesome Smoker
This smoker is fantastic, I have done pulled pork on it 3 times in a week since I got it.
Husband loves it!
I bought this smoker as a gift for my husband
Two cooks in and Im satisfied
Camp chef woodwind wifi 24 is pretty easy to use but had some surprises for me changing from a propane smoke hollow cabinet smoker to the Woodwind. 1. Pellet selection and storagehad to purchase in 20 or 40 lb sizes and buy buckets with lids to store them. 2. After initial burn in process, there is startup cycle about 11 min to get up to temp. 3. After done, there is a shutdown cycle as well about another 11 min. Love the wifi warns when the sensor temp is getting close; temp sensors can plug in and monitor 4 at same time; can adjust temp and smoke level from the app as well as using grill controls. Two things kinda bum me out first is that while perfectly cooked, the meat is not as smoke flavored as with my propane smoker and second is that being 54 in height, when I open the lid it contacts my forearm leaving a burn mark. If the handle was closer to the bottom edge (or I was a bit taller) this burn could be avoided. Overall, Im satisfied with the performance and the cleaning because I dont have to add wood chips every 45 minutes nor add water to a pan in the smokerconsistent temperatures reliably achieved!
Solid smoker - easy to use
Solid smoker - may not have all the Bluetooth bells and whistles but:
Love this
By far the best easy to use, steaks are delicious
