Twice bitten.. questionable quality

We bought one of these and while we liked it, it lasted 18 months before dying. We bought another one and one of the inner elements does not work for toasting, leaving one side uncooked. Interestingly, that element does work under the Bagel setting but the other side doesn't. Very disappointed in Breville. We like the design of the toaster but it just seems to be lacking in quality.

100$ for 2 years

Only lasted two years. Out of nowhere it completely stopped working.

Element burns out

Bought this in late 2022 as a replacement for an older model Breville no longer in production. It worked well for about a year and a half then the far side slot burnt out. A poor investment given the price tag.

Best toaster we've ever owned

This is probably the best toaster I've ever owned. Features such as "lift %26 look" and the "A bit more" button are really convenient. Toast comes out evenly browned. And we love the 4-slice size; instead of 4 slots there are 2 very long slots which makes it easier to toast larger slices of bread. Excellent product; would definitely recommend!

Dented toaster anyone?

Not sure if the toaster works because it arrived completely dented. Then I had to go thru several hoops to get a replacement. The outer box and inner box were intact and not damaged. Was this damaged from someone

Breville continues to impress!

So far, it's an excellent toaster, big which fits a lot more than expected. Would definitely recommend.

Only Lasted Two Years - Very disappointed

While this toaster worked it was fantastic. I also have the kettle which is amazing too. Unfortunately, after only two years the toaster died, one of the sides had a flash of fire and then that side stopped working all together. It doesn't seem safe to keep using. For the price, two years isn't very long at all. Very disappointed.

My wife and I have an early morning ritual before she goes to work (I’m retired), toasted bagels and cream cheese. My new toaster is now a big part of our a.m. routine, we are so happy enjoying bagels and coffee, especially with the bagel toasting feature, what a great idea! Thanks so much, Ed and Dora!

I have been using this for a few months and the ends get burnt while the center isn’t even brown. Not an even toast.

This toaster does a good job of evenly toasting bread of all sizes and thicknesses. It isn't annoyingly loud either. I would recommend this toaster.

Useless. Had to return it.

I thought I was getting a high quality toaster I could use for our homemade loaves, but we could not find a setting that would make it toast properly. All through the range, the bread would be warm but not toasted. When we got to the highest settings, the bread would come out either burned, or burned at the top and not toasted for the rest. I very rarely return purchases, but had to return this. Most expensive useless toaster I have ever seen. I gave Breville a second chance and bought a Die-cast Smart Toaster (2 long slices), and that one works very well. @Breville, I think you should consider retiring this model. It is a reputation killer.

Terrible experience.

It was a terrible experience, and it will be a long time before I Shope at your store again. I ordered a 4 slice toaster and was sent a two slice toaster but charged twice for a four slice toaster. I sent the two slice toaster back and could not even find anyone to help me with a mailing return label. The girl/woman was very rude so I just gave up. Only to see my visa card charged twice for a toaster I did not get. I was also billed over and over until I had to call my card and have it changed. Never again.

Beautiful and functional Breville toaster

We are enjoying our beautiful new toaster. This is our second Breville, and we wouldn't buy anything else.
