Great MCM Outdoor Sconce

An awesome MCM outdooor fixture. Throws enough light to illuminate my house numbers and the porch. Easy to install and the right size.

Nice if you can accept the caveats.

Kichler Independence 7 in. light is quite nice and attractive. There are some issues though:

Clean, Modern, and Bright

A nice, modern accent that maintains a low profile. Client was looking for something with clean lines and minimal visual weight. This fit the bill and emits enough light without being blinding. Will recommend to other homeowners who have similar needs.

Quality Lamp

Nice lamp, good quality materials and construction. One caveat would be that it needs a flat mounting surface. Uneven surfaces such as a rough knock down stucco will need to smoothed in some fashion in order for the lamp and mounting plate to mate properly. Other than that it's an easy install.

Just what we wanted

Nice mid-century vibe to these lights. We already had installed 7 of them a few years ago and needed a few more to go around the garage. These fit in perfectly with the old ones and look like they were done at the same time. I’d definitely buy them again.

Basic. Great finish. Simple and good for dark sky. Great value.

All 3 turned yellow in a few months

I bought these white lights to go on the back side of my white porch pillars. They are 12ft up and behind the pillars and not exposed to direct sunlight. They look awful. I wish I had known they would turn yellow…I would never had gotten these. Very disappointed.

They were bigger than expected also for the price point seem very flimsy. This maybe why you can only buy them online. If they were in the store at this price I probably would have found something of better quality.

Although it clearly looks like bronze inline it more of a painted brown, not gilded or bronze. They still work for me so I kept them. And I do love them despite the finish being way off-

Very clean and modern looking addition to the exterior of one of our production homes. The light produces a great triangle spread as the light comes out. We actually installed it pointing up. Creates a great accent to the exterior of the home. We would but these again.

The lighting fixture was professionally installed, so can't speak to ease of install but the electrician had it up quickly. It is a great color and shape. It has been installed about a month and it works well in the backyard. I had looked for a fixture that was unique, and this one fit the bill. I would recommend it.

I ordered 2 of these lights in the larger size (15") and one smaller light for the entry door and this one for the garage man door. Quality looking lights and I can't wait to see them installed on my new home!
