Broke in 2 months; Replacement Also Failed Soon
AVOID!!! Expensive & quality VERY poor. We renovated our house exterior and finished it with lights, specifically one on each side of our garage door. Within 2 months a light went out. The (original, pre-private equity buy out) customer service was great and quickly replaced unit. However that too failed. Then the other original failed... So now we have a nicely finished house with one light pointing up and one light pointing down all for $300 and within 8 months (outside warranty).
Great customer service
They look very nice but water gets in them and Lightbulbs do not function very well. We bought 3 and 1 burned out within two months. Capitol Lighting were great. They replaced it without any delays. Thank you for great customer service!
Three of the four lamps were left a neighboring house but that wasn't the merchant's fault. . Otherwise, great, sturdy lighting and looking forward to their installation!

Quality Light
This up down light is well constructed and solid. The LEDs are the right brightness and the spread of the light is good. The only problem is getting the supplied bracket completely flat against the box. If it's not flat, the base of the light won't be flush with the box. Might be easier in new construction than a retrofit, but still a great light.
Wall lamp order
Lamps ordered with end caps to allow for outdoor use. Nice option. Like subtle bronze color.
NOT for Outdoors
Although advertised as an outdoor fixture, it can't be used outdoors as-is. A cap needs to be purchased for an additional cost of $20+.

Great quality fixture. Have two that have been in use for outside for 6 years and the finish on those looks like new and I expect the same from these.
The lighting at night is beautiful how it glows.
