I've owned two whirlpool tubs previously a tub and the American Standard is better than both. the engineering is superior. Quiet and sturdy. Clear instructions left no room for ambiguity. A great buy!

The tub had a manufacture defect. When trying to install we ended up with a big gap where the drain is. There was no way around it so we had to return it and waited 3 weeks for a replacement. When we picked it up we made sure to take it out of the box and look at it before leaving the store. So far so good no leaks but tub is just not durable it’s flimsy. I do regret getting this tub it’s not what I expected for the price. If you’re installing your self be prepared to make some modifications to make the tub more stable and sturdy.

Dream come true!

I was really nervous about getting this tub because of what some other people said about the back jets shooting water everywhere. But we decided to risk it. I’ve always wanted 6 foot jacuzzi and there are not many options out there. So glad we did! This tub is spacious, beautiful and very relaxing. The thing about those back jets is - you can’t turn them on unless you filled the tub all the way. If the jets are not fully submerged it does seem like water is coming out of a hose on full blast. But if you fill the tub properly it’s totally fine. It’s not even all that hard on your back. You can also turn the individual jet dials down to make it less forceful. All in all, I recommend!

Lightweight and easy to maneuver into position. The dimensions were as stated which was important because we had several sets of stairs and smaller doors to squeeze through. Home Depot's website did a good job reminding me that I needed a universal drain and optional heater at check out. Looks good with the hardware I chose also.

Water jets are not wll designed. Locations are not very good. Back two jets higher that the front. Sprays water out everywhere unless filled up to the over fill drain. Right front jet very weak. Not as good as my previous smaller American Standard Whirlpool Tub. Also had a hard time finding faucet to fit it. What was recommended by Home Depot and purchased online was wrong. Paying plumbers $950 to installation had to rig a sink faucet for now because Home Depot had nothing at any price in stock at the Evans, Georgia location. Had to drive there and get something while the plumbers waited. Will change out the faucet with the appropriate type later. Whoever does the web page needs to know what they are recommending. So when Home Depot says recommended to purchase be careful. Unbelievable they did not have a tub faucet to fit it in stock at any price. Bought a Kohler Sink Faucet and took out the water restricter. It works but takes twice as long to fill the tub. Also try getting help at that location, good luck.

Installed tub and Heater adapter line was improperly glued. Leaked everywhere when we tested it the first time and now I’m dealing with warranty issues before it’s even been used. Very unhappy customers and also makes my company look bad.
