Picked up the tub at HD and the box had no visible damage. After installing the tub I did a check on level and noticed the rear tub ledge was had a 1/4" dip. I contacted American Standard, they requested a photo with a measure indicator. They were very good and did explain that a 1/4" dip on the ledge is within tolerance. I also watched a very good tutorial on tiling a tub surround and it was mentioned that tubb ledges are not perfectly flat due to design to shed water off the ledge.

Really like the non slip base, has a much wider edge on it than expected. Easily cleans.

Tub has extra wide ledge which is perfect for a tub/shower- more shower space. Received a few scratched ones, but received replacement. Tub is an off white, would have preferred a white white. Let’s hope it holds up!

Arrived damaged, however customer service shipped out a new one right away. It’s so much better than a plastic tub.

I love this tub. The extra ledge space is great for storage or for my kids to play with. The extra four inches on the side make the space feel enormous during showers. The coating on the floor retains grip during showers but is slippery when fully submerged in a bath situation. The tub is much much sturdier than the acrylic tub we replaced. It’s not a rock solid tank like cast iron, but it certainly doesn’t move or creak in use. All of these complaints are very very minor. Note that the faucet need to move over four inches to be centered with the tub and the plumber had an extraordinarily hard time getting the drain seated properly. It is a bit shallow, but I would buy this again in a heartbeat if I were redoing my other bathroom.

Not so white

Solid bathtub, but the color is not a very bright white. More on the warm spectrum. Would definitely recommend looking at it in person and comparing it to any tile you're planning on using.

This is the model with the luxury ledge. The luxury ledge could have used a tiny bit more pitch to help eliminate standing water after use. This tub has a nice low front apron which is what I wanted. However if your looking to install shower doors the flat portion of the threshold is only about 2-3/8 inches of the overall 4 inches because of the curved edges of the threshold. this will limit your choices of doors as alot of them come with 2-1/2 or larger bottom tracks. Otherwise the construction and quality get high marks from me.

When the top first came and I opened the box. I was a little upset because it I have three inches of leg space. That's something you can put something on. However since having it I'm okay with it I love the space cuz I can put items on it if you see my shampoo lose unwind. And it's just me and I'm okay with it in the tub I am 5 10 and it's a nice size. The tub dimension is the same as a standard tub, but the price is higher. The biggest issue was the tub itself. We had to return the tub due to chips and cracks in the edges of the enamel.

Perfect for our purpose

We were looking for a tub which also made showering comfortable. This one is the shallowest we found and is extra wide. Perfect for our plans!

Great tub

Have owned this tub for about 5 years now. It was a bathroom remodel. It is a very good quality tub and still looks brand new. Installation was very easy and straight forward. And very importantly, the weight was considerably less than the Kohler model. When you are installing in on a suspended floor, such as any floor that isn't a concrete slab, this weight difference is important. Also, handling and maneuvering the tub is not difficult. All together we are very pleased with this high quality tub, we will be ordering another one for another bathroom remodel soon.

Nice tub

Haven't soaked in the tub as yet but it has been installed and looks great. It seems well made. I like the idea that it has one side with a wide top for putting shampoo, soaps, etc. Looking forward to baths again!
