DENTED pan!!!! Not in original packaging!!!

Pan arrived without original packaging - so it was either used, or a return. I guess I don't really care about that, but do care that the item had a dent in it (so either it was a SECOND or it damaged in shipping (as there was no foam around pan.. just moving around in a big box).

I am really happy with this jumbo frying pan! I really like the design as it is very manageable even with its large size. It is not too heavy which makes cooking and washing it easy. The nonstick feature also makes cooking and cleaning it a breeze! The fact that it is dishwasher safe is also convenient, however I would personally just wash it being it cleans easily and would take up a lot of room in the dishwasher. I used it on a gas stove, but it can be used on electric and glass stovetops as well. A little added bonus to Calphalon is their packaging- it was very sturdy and had quality feel, even incorporating plastic stoppers to prevent the cover from clashing with the pan.

I received the Calphalon Hard Anodized Nonstick Fry Pan free for review from Influenster. That in no way changes my honest opinion of this product. Straight out of the box, this pan is HEAVY! I personally like a heavy pan and have always related it to higher quality and performance. The pan is a really nice size and depth. I could easily use it to fry chicken or as a substitute for a wok when making some at home Asian cuisine. The pan is hard anodized, so I would typically throw it in the dishwasher to clean, but I feel like hand washing would keep it looking nicer and lasting longer. The non-stick coating works great so far, and the pan heats evenly so while cooking.

I absolutely love this pan, it cooks amazing. The non stick is next level on this one. I have basically only been using this pan for all my meals, especially stir fry’s. It is very light weight for the size. I will say the only downside fall is not having any rubber on the handle to pick up when it’s hot, but I can live without it.

Always a huge fan of Calphalon! This jumbo fry pan is the perfect size and depth to use as a wok, saute pan, or to shallow fry your food. It cleans up like a dream, and it truly does not stick to your food! It's a nice heavy weight too which makes it feel like it holds heat evenly. I want to replace all my pans with this line now!!

I cook at home quite often but have never tried anything from this brand . If the rest of the line as high quality as this I want more ! Haven’t had it long enough to know if durability will last but so far so good . No issues. This skillet in particular is large ! I was able to make a big batch of spaghetti sauce using 2 ponds of beef and two 24 oz jars of sauce and could have added more . Even though it is lrg also cooked smaller meals just fine . Skillet seams to heat evenly and nothing sticks so far .

The shape and weight to this frying pan is ideal for long lasting use. Deep enough to catch splatter and spits from oil and sauces. The heat distributes evenly and cooks well. Although it's a big size ots not heavy and is easy to move around. The non stick part of it is one of the best I've used, food doesn't stick and it's easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher.

A very good pan I love the size it’s big so just take up a little bit space but it does cook really well for sautéing It’s awesome as you can see. I did some peppers and add steak later on, but this is really nice. I love how the lid seals on the pan. The lid may be a little sharper around the edges so just be careful. I noticed when I was washing around, the glass there was a sharp edge other than that the pan is great. I can’t wait to cook more meals with it. I’m so excited it really does a good job. It’s nonstick it cleans up very easily. There’s no issue and it’s one of the best pans I own at this moment.

So you can go from stove top to oven just like that. Now with durability it does come with some added weight. However it isn’t as heavy as expected. So far, so good. I’m happy.
