Great Recessed Light Fixture

I had a recessed light I needed to replace, and I tried the Halo - CEZ 6 inch White Recessed Light Canless EZ-Trim GU24 Lamp-Based Direct Mount. This fixture is LED compatible and is perfect for new construction or remodel jobs like mine. There is no need for existing housing or J-box, simply cut a 6.13" ceiling cutout, connect the wires, insert the light in the hole and you're good to go. Fast, easy installation.

Bridges the gap

This electrical supply item bridges the gap between traditional (housing + trim) and can-less LED downlighting. The advantage is there is no housing or junction box required. Will work in shallow ceiling.

I’ve put a few of these in my kitchen now. I love the down light look and the lighting is great. It was easy to install and will give your home a updated look. I would recommend this product.

Great White LED Light!

HALO - CEZ SIX INCH WHITE RECESSED LIGHT CANLESS EZ - TRIM GU TWENTYFOUR LAMP BASED DIRECT MOUNT. I am really happy with the Canless LED Light. I have lots of the old recessed canless lights that need to be replaced. I replaced one of the really old canlesss with this light and WOW what a difference! This was easy to install, directions easy to follow and no more changing light bulbs! I prefer the white light and this one is bright and pretty!

Nice and easy

These are easy to install and look really sharp in place. We are redoing our basement and since the ceiling is lower, we wanted to recess the lighting. It was a great idea and these look great.

Perfect for our remodel!

The CEZ 6" White Recessed Canless Light is now installed in our hallway. My husband said it was so easy to install and is well made. It came perfectly boxed which doesn't always happen with shipping anymore. When we took it out of the box, we were pleased with the bright white color and the sturdiness of the light. Installation was a breeze and the light sets off a great glow of light for our needs. We would highly recommend Halo-CEZ Canless recessed lights for your lighting needs.

Solid Recessed Light

I just got my Halo CEZ 6 inch White Recessed Light Canless EZ Trim GU24 Lamp-Based Direct Mount Fixture recently. First of all, the light looks really clean and nice right out of the box. The box protected the lamp really nice -- good to have a well protected product. The light has a really thick paint job that is flawless. I like the fact that I can use with a stud mount or directly through ceiling -- with no stud mount. There are spring loaded side arms that apply tension (tension on the top side of sheetrock or wood cut out) to hold the light in place if you choose to not use the stud mount. There are knock outs or clips that hold the NM-B romex to the junction box. The clips enable you to open a flap and place the romex in the notch of the clip. No romex clamps needed. Time saver and money saver. On the other hand, you can use the knockouts of the junction box to use the standard clamps. There are wire "push connectors" for the wires to easily slip into for making the line/ground connections. Using the push connectors saves me from needing wire nuts. TOTAL time/money saver there as well. The junction box is small enough to not take up much space in a void area of a soffit, which is good for the final tuck install. The spring arms hold the fixture tight to the drywall (or other materials) of the ceiling after the tuck, and pushes the fixture really tight with no gaps or sagging. The fixture is light enough in weight to accomplish this nicely. The spring tension, with the light weight of the unit, equals a tight fit to cut out hole. They even give you a template to cut the hole. No guessing. Fantastic. No one likes to guess on the hole cut, and I do not carry a large compass to make the circle. So that is a saver. I set this light up with a clear light bulb with as much lumens for the wattage that I thought appropriate. I used a bulb that is a few watts less than the max amount suggested by Halo. The wide 6 inch hood throws a wide pitch of light for my living room where I mounted it. So good, that I do not believe I will need more. BUT, if I do, I can run one or more off the knock outs. I like the look of the deeper hood (great for longer bulbs too) and the trim looks top shelf as well. Easy install, and the instructions were clear to understand. Money saver in low wattage LED. The whole enchilada here.

Very Nice Energy Efficient Recessed Light Fixture

The Halo CEZ 4 in. White Recessed Light Canless EZ-Trim GU10 Lamp-Based Direct Mount light fixture appears to be well-designed for easy installation. The fact that it uses the GU10 Bayonet-style Mount for the bulbs which are available in LED and Halogen light sources bodes well for energy efficiency. Installation is simple: just cut a 4-3/16 inch diameter hole in the ceiling and push the fixture through the hole after attaching the three wires. The spring-loaded clamps built into the fixture hold it in place. Pop in a GU10 bulb and you're done. The built-in wire connectors in the junction box make hooking up the wires a snap. The finished fixture in white is very attractive and the use of LED bulbs means you can add one of these lights to almost any circuit without overloading the wiring. This fixture is available in both 4 inch and 6 inch diameter sizes. I chose a pair of the 4 inch fixtures to add to a dark area in my train room. I think they're very reasonably priced for the quality.

15Watt 4 inch White Recessed and canless fixture

This is another HALO CEZ easy install, canless EZ-Trim family in the 4 inch size. It requires a 15 watt LED light. It is a fast install and mounts without need of a mounting box. The EZ-TRIM feature securely attaches to sheetrock ceiling. Electrical connections are beneath a clipped box fitting. This fixture is available in both the 4inch and 6 inch variety and with the same features
