We purchased the Flow-X to replace our original Flow motion activated kitchen faucet. Our original Flow faucet had started to developed a small leak that had slowly increased over a period of several years. The leak originated from a spot at the bottom edge the adjustment lever. However, we dearly loved the motion activation feature on the original Flow faucet even with the small leak.

Great water pressure horrible handle design

I installed this faucet 2 weeks ago, replacing another touchless faucet that had very little water pressure. Install was simple, easy to do since what I was replacing was a mirror image of what I was installing. It took my old faucet 90 seconds for a gallon of water, the amout of water this BioBidet faucet puts out is incredible. Now on to the bad side, the handle. If you want straight hot or cold water, it's not a simple push back or pull forward for temperature change. If you want hot water, from the off position, you push the handle away from you but when turning on the water, the handle rotates towards you. And it's just the opposite when trying straight cold water, you think you need to pull it towards you, but instead you are pushing it back as it rotates. Very awkward. I realize it's a touchless faucet, but I don't want lukewarm water all the time. Faucet pressure 5 stars, handle design gets 2 stars.

The Flow X faucet was no harder to install than most other faucets. The only issue I had with installation was that the threaded main shift was not completely tightened into the faucet from the factory, which was not revealed until I had tightened the nut underneath the sink and discovered the faucet was still loose. After a bit of investigating, I discovered the issue. After I tightened the main treaded pipe into the faucet, it tightened down to the sink. The sensor seems to work fine. The oil rubbed bronze finish is nice as well. Matches our kitchen hardware exactly. What I don't like is the fit and material. The spray nozzle does not fit exactly into the curved pipe of the faucet, it is really light (might be plastic), and the curved pipe is a little loose where it meets the base. Just feels a little cheap for a $300+ faucet. I have a feeling it won't last long. Just installed it today. Cannot give it more than a three, meaning I think it is average.
