No the height was taller than expected
Sensor does not work properly
great faucet
Very happy with new hi tech faucet. Beautiful to look at and functionality much better than conventional
No more messy handle
Looks beautiful & works great! I love the no touch feature when my hands are dirty or have touched raw meat.
Modernist look
We really like the look of this particular kitchen faucet, and it works well with our remodel design. It is a little pesky to install, as we have an under counter white porcelain farmhouse sink, and the electrician had to reach under and then up behind the sink. We also need to figure out the weight provided to ensure the hose retracts after use. Overall, we shall see how it performs in the weeks/months to come!
No hands needed
Love the brushed gold and no hands touch
Love the look of this faucet! Except one major problem….
When no one is in the kitchen it will automatically turn on by itself and doesn’t turn off until someone discovers the water running and manually turns it off. I can no longer trust it. Also the steam from the hot water when washing dishes will make the faucet turn off and on repeatedly. If they could fix these two problems I would give it a 5 star because I love the look of the faucet.
Nice product but the arm connection to the base is loose
We build custom homes and we always spec Kohler products however, the issue with this faucet is where the arm connects to the base is loose and can't be tightened, thus it wobbles a bit and wasn't satisfactory to us or the homeowner. We returned the 1st one and ordered a 2nd and now it's being returned and we're trying another Kohler touchless faucet. We just rec'd the Graze touchless faucet, which appears to have the same issue.
Needs electricity
I bought 2 of these to replace two 20 year old Kohler kitchen faucets. I didn't think to look at the measurements, this is a little smaller than my old ones, so the faucet does not come out into the center of my large sink as well. It's closer to the wall. Also the hose does not pull out as far as my old ones did. Now, my old ones wouldn't stay closed, and maybe Kohler determined a shorter hose would solve that problem. I just can't use the hose to refill my Berkey water filter that I have sitting next to the sink anymore. Lastly, you need to plug these in to electricity. One is in a sink with a garbage disposal, so that was no problem. But the other one, my plumber had to run the thin cord through my undersink cupboard door and around to an outlet. I wasn't home when my plumber installed. So I said, I don't need the touch feature on this sink, I'll just unplug it, at least until I get the electrician to come install the outlet inside the cabinet. Well, when I unplugged it, it didn't work at all.
Very Impressive
Very happy with my purchase. The Tone is perfect for everyday kitchen use, with the touchless technology being its best asset. High quality, and very visually appealing in my kitchen. Love it.
Multiple design flaws
This faucet it pretty, but the function of lacking, especially given the price. We’ve had it installed for about three months and issues thus far include: (1) no way to toggle off the high powered spray function (button is stuck), which is so powerful that it sprays everywhere; (2) extension hose is hard to retract, so you have to manually work to return the head to its mount; (3) because of the upward motion required from issue #2, the top of the faucet starts to separate from the base of the faucet and needs to be periodically pushed back down into place; (4) general wiggly top half of the faucet because the connection to the base is flimsy; and (5) steam triggers the sensor to cause the faucet to turn off and on. I strongly recommend against this faucet.
Not a review Kohler will want
This faucet NEVER worked correctly. The sensors simply did not work to turn water on or off. In spite of the total failure of their product, it took weeks to get any satisfaction from Kohler.
Great looking faucet, but definite design flaw!
I am a contractor who builds custom homes and builds custom kitchen cabinets. I have always recremended "Kohler" to my customers. But this "Tone" faucet has a serious issue. You can't run hot water while rinsing dishes. The steam from the hot water turns the faucet off, then on again repeatedly. Very frustrating. You have to turn the faucet handle off till the steam clears and then back on, but it does it again.
Beautiful and easy to use faucet
I'm very happy with the Kohler faucet we chose. I especially like the touchless feature. Be sure to read the troubleshooting info if it's not working for you; easy fix. The satin brass finish pairs perfectly with my knobs and pulls which were purchased elsewhere but also in a satin brass finish. Water spots are easy to wipe away but if those bother you, this is not the finish for you. The functionality of the sprayer spout is good. I'm really happy with the purchase.
Love this faucet
We bought this faucet in August and recently installed it. It installed seamlessly. We love the look of the faucet and the touchless features. I'm not sure if we will ever have a 'conventional' faucet again.
Poorly designed Kitchen Faucet
Sensor does not work efficiently. Picks up body motion, making it not effective. This faucet cost over $700, and does not work.
Stunning to look at but has some design flaws
I was super excited to get this faucet as it matched my kitchen beautifully. The neck of faucet seems loose. I realize that it swivels and can’t be completely firm. Then last night we noticed a bubble at the base of the faucet. The black paint came off! I’m shocked because Kohler has a great reputation and the faucet wasn’t cheap.
Show stopper!!!
Absolutely beautiful and solid!
Not the normal Kohler quality
The fixture was flimsy and had a lot of play between the base and swiveling neck of the faucet.
Great faucet
Superior faucet by Kohler. Absolutely love the touchless action to turn on and off. Beautiful design.
