the old transformer blew out during a power surge and this was the perfect replacement.

works great to power halogen lamp

Just the right specs to replace an old - and much heavier - transformer for one of our favorite halogen reading lights. Works great upon initial installation. Time will tell if it lasts for the many years I would expect it to.

Easy to change Worked Great !!!!

I run a Retail store and have had to replace the transfomer when ligth will not work with new bulb . The only thing it can be in most cases is a bad Transfomer. Very easy to change on this model unplug the old one and pull the plug out of it. Put the plug in the new unit and bingo. You got light. Hope this helps .
