Door exploded when hanging

The exterior door exploded (tempered glass) while attempting to hang the exterior door panel. The instructions specifically ask to install the interior door then the exterior door. This involves tilting both doors into the enclosure while trying to slide the outer door up and into the track. As I was doing it I had the thought that it might be easier to do it in the opposite order. It didn't hit anything hard or with much force, it must have been the combination of my hands in the middle, contact with the track on the top and the inner door pressing on the bottom that overstressed the door.

THE GLASS BLEW UP IN OUR FACE

I had purchased shower doors for my home on March 31, 2021, I was going to install them on my vacation in June but I ended up with medical issues which landed me to see the VA, I chose to wait till I got better and chose to install the doors on my current vacation (Feb 14-20th) Today the 17th, I removed the old glass doors I installed over two years ago and I began to install the new doors, the installation took a little time, following the enclosed instructions. When it came time to hang the doors I was in the stall and my partner was out, we got the first door hung and it was fine, my partner took notice of the way the doors were mounted, there was nothing from allowing the glass to slip from the mount that the manufacture-installed, but the manufacture should know what it's doing. Upon hanging the second door, we got it hung as we let go, the glass door literally exploded sending glass shards and pieces all over me, the shower stall, my partner, and the bathroom floor leaving both of us with minor cuts due to the glass and just an extra note, the glass seemed to be popping, making a popping sound. Taking a few minutes to gather my thoughts what happened and from the shock of having glass explode in my face, I stood in the stall attempting to clean myself from the glass, my partner after cleaning himself called Home Depot and spoke to a manager named Tracy, after telling her what had happened she informed him that this exact same thing happened to another person she dealt with, she said that the company Basco allowed the customer to go to the store and get another, we said that we do not want another, not after just what happened, I didn't feel like having another door exploding on me.

BUYER BEWSARE! I've installed about 6 shower enclosures and this one was a debacle. On the first attempt the enclosure was shipped there were multiple miss-packaged parts. There was at least 4 different problems keeping the door from being installed properly. Wayfair shipped a replacement unit and there were two additional problems. After a trip to the hardware store to buy items that were miss-packages, and having to cut the towel bar to make it fit correctly the door is functional. However it took excessive time to install, it caused a lot of stress, and we're not happy with the quality of smoothness of the operation. BUYER BEWARE!

Assembly instructions are not complete enough.

It is very difficult to measure for the proper cut on the side rails. All metal jams were way to long in length. The towel rack needs better installation instructions and there are no instructions for the anti-jump inserts. I still do not know how to install the inserts.

A little pricey for what the product is. But it's nice. Not bad to install. You will need a good way to cut this aluminum frame to fit your shower opening. A good miter box or steel cutting miter. Overall its nice but the instructions could have been better.

These doors are great. Look great in the bathroom.

Showed up the first time with bent and damaged parts so wayfair sent us a new set of doors. When they arrived the wheel mount part on the sexo d set of doors was also damaged during transit or at the manufacturer. Now I have to figure out how to dispose of two sets of shower doors and find out how we go about getting a third set shipped to us. Avoid these doors at all cost as it is not worth the aggravation of trying to get undamaged or bent parts.
