Very pretty! Well packed and has so much potential for being stained. Looks sturdy and the wood grain is amazing! I bought two and Would buy these doors again!

This door was purchased for an additional bathroom. It was perfect for the area and looks like it was made for the room. We were very pleased with the quality and the price.

Cut From 18" wide to 16" and no issues

I needed some solid doors in size 16". I Couldn't find it anywhere so decided to buy this slab. I cut them down by 2" ( 1" on each side) using a table saw. Cuts like a butter. I filled in all small voids with wood filler, Sanded down the edges, bored out the door handle hole, primed and painted with 2 coats of latex. Still holding up nicely after about a year!.

Beautiful doors, heavy and solid. Good night sleep coming up! No more hollow doors. Well worth the money!

It's a nicely finished door at a good price. Note however that "solid wood" only means that it is not hollow. The door is made of a mixture of plywood like strips and veneer. Although the door is marked as trimmable, you can only trim the top and the bottom, not the sides. Not recommended if you're trying to fit into an existing frame, only for new build or where you can adjust the frame around the door.

[Rewarded Review] Slabs nicely packaged for shipment

Looking for this sort of door slab for custom install. Lowe's was the only supplier that cataloged, so ordered through them. Delivery time was acceptable. Finally got to point in project to open one of four packages and it looks like a nice door. Main point I want to make in this review is that the product was nicely packaged in cardboard, with appropriate filler to ensure safe delivery. Shipping was through Fedex to the Lowes picked up at.

I was very impressed with the Colonial Paneled Solid wood door I purchased through Wayfair. When I compared it to the big box stores, Wayfair saved me $1K. The Shipping was very fast and I was impressed with the quality of the wood. Would recommend and purchase again without hesitation.

Veneered solid wood

Door is solid wood yes, but low grade (ugly) wood covered with veneer. I know because I had to remove 3/4” from both sides to fit my opening which exposed gaps and knots on the edges. However it’s an attractive door when finished. A door made of top grade lumber throughout would probably cost four times as much.

We were so impressed with these doors from Wayfair. We had bought 2 doors before from them, one for my bathroom and one for my son’s bedroom. We just put in a laundry closet and decided to go with the same style doors. So so happy with them. We will eventually change out all our doors with these doors for sure. Love them!!

I was a little disappointed to see that the stiles are made of who knows what and covered with a thin veneer of pine. I can't really tell about the rails, but the panels are glue-ups made of app. 1.5 inch pieces and are roughly machined.

Quality second to none

Ordered two of this type door and was pleased when I received them. Pretty quick shipping, great packaging, and quality doors I hung and am using as sliding barn doors to my master closet. The quality for both of them was excellent, ready to stain or paint after a light sanding. I will buy again for my other closets. 2 thumbs up!!

To fit the door into an existing space, it was necessary to cut 1/4" off 1 side, & 4" off the bottom, revealing the ultra-thin veneer covered careless craftsmanship inside, un-glued joints that needed filling, sanding & painting, rather than staining & clear coat.

Ordered and had delivered to store. couple of tears in outer packaging layer did not make it through the inner protection, this was packaged well. this is not a laminate door, solid wood throughout, very well made, quality construction, worth the cost.

The door is heavy and has sturdy construction. It also has a nice wood grain and is pre-sanded for quick staining. I plan to use it for a hall closet door and a bathroom door as I purchased smaller ones to replace the older plain used doors. I like the 6 panel design and is heavy for pine. I think it is yellow pine or Douglas fir.

Beautiful! I ordered two solid pine doors for my pantry and they are exactly what I wanted. They arrived in perfect condition, which wasn’t surprising given the attention to packaging. I couldn’t be happier. Now I’m going to turn them into aged looking French oak pantry doors. Wish me luck!

This is a good door and worked perfectly for what I needed it for. I converted a small storage space/closet into a recording booth and therefore needed an unusual sized door. I built out a frame and after shaving a little off the top of the door it worked perfectly and came out looking great!!! It is solid and sturdy, I highly recommend this item
