Excellent ice machine

These machines make ice and are perfect for making drinks. For its size, you will be amazed at how fast it makes ice and how much you can use in a day. It's fast, fairly quiet, and the bottles are easy to fill.

Very fancy and good.

I've used a lot of other countertop ice makers, but this is the best ice maker I've ever owned or used. This machine is almost completely silent. You can barely hear the ice fall.

Love! Quiet and makes ice fast!

The ice seems to keep longer than other ice I have made in the past. I use this machine twice a week and then store the ice in the freezer. I like this machine very much. It's pricey, but I think it's worth every penny.

Great producer

Really love this ice maker. It cost more than others I investigated but I feel the features and being a GE brand make it worth it. Fast ice creation, and ability to schedule automatic times to start and stop were 2 of the features I liked.

Once you have one of these devices, you'll buy one anywhere you need to spend a lot of time. I find it encourages everyone in the house to drink more water.

So far so good!

The maiden voyage took a while and tasted like plastic, which the manual says will happen. I let it run overnight and dumped the first batch as instructed. The second run had my ice bin full in about 90 minutes and the ice was flavorless! So far so good! The interior light is kinda cool, and provides a little ambience wherever you have it should you leave the light on. My friends have the GE ice maker that is $550 bucks. This one’s ice bin is a little smaller and it’s a little noisier when running. Not that it’s loud or anything. A baby could sleep next to it, no problem. For half the cost, I’m very satisfied with this purchase!My only complaint is the belated ice leaks out when you open the ice bin. It comes with a tray that catches it, but you need to empty that every so often. At the price, it’s not enough for me to deduct a star. I recommend this!

Very please with this purchase

I'm very pleased with this purchase. The end tables are very sturdy. The drawer opens and closes smoothly. I've change the pulls to complement the Asian decor we have in our guest room. I would buy again.
