Poor quality rice cooker!

Unnecessarily complicated rice cooker. In my personal opinion, as a consumer, cooking rice should not be a complicated process. I've always only had to press "one" button when cooking rice in my older rice cooker, and the rice came out just fine. Unfortunately, Cuckoo with what I feel are excessive cooking options, makes cooking simple jasmine rice a huge tasking; certainly nothing simple about this rice cooker; it gives you a dozen different options to cook rice. And the instructions to change the language is even wrong; it says to press the auto clean button 6 times to enter the mode; WRONG, 5 times, then you'll see the #6, at which point, you press the right menu selection to get to english. I don't have the time not patience to read a novel think instruction manual just to cook two cups of jasmine rice. We got this rice cooker half off but I don't think it was worth the discounted price, so we're returning it. I would not gift this rice cooker or recommend it; it's just unnecessarily complicated!

Great little rice cooker

I cook brown rice 4-5x per week. This pressure cooker does a great job and keeps the rice warm for a day or two without drying it out.

Rice cooker

The box was exposed to sunlight too much, so even if the tape turned yellow and fell off, the rice box inside was too dusty. I bought black, but it came with a goose gray rice bowl. I will never use the internet again.

Super Easy and Durable Rice Cooker!

I have owned this for a number of years and it's still going strong. The only thing I have had to do is change the seal once a year because I use it so much. Super easy and durable.

I have had this rice cooker more than 5 years. I had used other ones but it is incomparable. Because my family eat rice almost everyday so good rice cooker is deciding the quality of meal. This is the best tasting rice cooker, sturdy and convenient. I love high pressure mixed rice or high pressure brown rice. These kinds of rice taking longer time and easy to be cooked dry. But this cooker is 'a magician' to make them so delicious and soft. Sometimes I use it for porridge. I dump all ingredients in the pot and just 'press cook'. That's it! Easy to use and clean. I even cooked bread with it. I want to recommend it for high quality cooked rice taste and texture and fun cooking with various functions to use!

Solid rice cooker

For years I resisted purchasing a proper rice cooker. I cooked my rice on the stove but finally gave in. I knew I would buy either a Cuckoo or another major brand but I opted for Cuckoo and I am glad I did.

This is a nice rice cooker with tons of options to choose. After 5 years of use, it is still working like brand new. My only concern for this is that there is not an option to buy the inner pot separately.

I’ve been using this rice cooker for 5+ years, and I have only just had to replace the inner pot. It is now good to go and works like new. My friends say they like my ‘fluffy rice’ the most, which is honestly the greatest compliment to my rice cooker. Cheers.

Best rice cooker

This rice cooker is great. I love the variety of functions and it is pretty easy to use. It is small enough to not take up much counter space. I also like that it is easy to clean.
