Accurate dimensions

Size is perfect for under cabinet use. Enough space to allow for plumbing and installation without scuffing doors. However, the “install kit” that Lowe’s so kindly added to my cart as necessary (and I accepted) was NOT for this heater. The connections are smaller than a standard house-sized water heater.

4 Gal Point of Use Water Heater

Just what I needed. It was not an exact replacement but fit where I needed it. Quick install, and almost instant hot water. Shipping was very fast and well packaged.

Replacement Was Easy Change Out From Previous Eemax

Had one of these installed by local plumber and it worked fine for about 2 years. When I called for getting a new one the plumber wanted $600 to install a new one and also said they last 2 or 3 years. I went online and bought this one for a little over $200 and we installed. Time will tell how long it lasts.

Very easy to install. I was mostly impressed with how fast it heated the water to the desired temperature....and maintained that temperature well past the 4 gallons.

Works well but may not last long

Easy to install into existing plumbing with help of plumber, works as intended to give instant hot water for a circulating pump so that water is hot out of tap while main heater kicks in. This was a replacement for one that failed (leak) after 5 years - seems a bit short which is why rating is not 5* - called company and they said replace old since out of warranty.

No maintenance requirements in the warranty.

Came quickly; easy to install; works well. Replacing 4 years old leaking Bosch heater. Poor warranty.

Easy to install. Virtually instant hot water. Variable water temperature with the one knob on the front. Great investment.

My first Eemax lasted years longer then promised

Eemax suggests a 5 year life on it's small under sink water heaters. I am on a well and I thought with the mineral content of well water, I wouldn't even reach the 5 years. It went two years past that. I have replaced it with another.

Used heater sold as new

The heater was delivered in a shipping box that was all wet. I was perplexed - the local weather had been dry...

Kitchen hot water

Works great, had installed in less than half hour. Went from taking 15 minutes to get hot water in my kitchen to less than 10 seconds.

So far so good.

I just installed this. Straight forward easy install. It has cast iron nipples and overpressure port and comes with an overpressure/temp pop-off valve. Unlike some that are plastic this seems to be better built. Time will tell.

Love this heater!

Love this heater! Compact and very simple and clean design. I installed this in my camp trailer since the propane heater died again! And they are way too expensive to replace. Plus I don't worry about propane anymore!! Only for cooking. Plenty of hot water for a camp trailer.

You will find this mini-tank easy to install. Compact in design. Heat control is front mounted for easily adjustment up to 140 degrees. Wall mount hardware included. Approximately 20 lbs. 12"x12"x 18" tall. It uses 110vac @ 12 amps Follow your local building codes for your area. The suggested clearance required above this unit is 8"-9". My hot water heater is in the middle of the house and a bathroom about 25' away. The bathtub gets hot fast due to the water flow but the sink take a long time to get hot water. Now its with in second that hot water is available at the sink.
