Water is consistently hot. Like that I can easily adjust temperature on the unit. Using this in a cabin with one full bath.

We had a 10 year old Eemax heater and we in the process of repairing it when the internal plasic heat exchanger tubes cracked and leaked. This new unit seem to be built much more substainial with copper internals and simplified control system.

Eemax quality sucks!

Eemax quality sucks . I have a had an Eemax electric tankless unit for over 12 years. in that 12 years I have replace the entire unit , and also replaced 2 of the 3 heating elements on two separate occasions. Unfortunately, once you plumb for this brand you are stuck with this brand unless you replumb. My advice is loook for a different brand!

Bought to replace previous tankless water heater. Easy to install and works great. Provides plenty of hot water instantly for a 1 bath home with washer and dishwasher. Great 5 yr replacement warranty.

So the 1 inch connector is painful as well as having to run 8 -2 and another 40 amp circuit breaker. Because I put this in an old camp the breaker box did not have 2 40 amp circuit breakers so I had to find them on line. I wish supply wear house would tell you : with this purchase you will need two 40 amp circuit and 8-2 wiring for each circuit plus 2 1 inch brass fittings to connect the water line.

Yes, I would buy this product again and the larger capacity

Produces plenty of hot water as described. Have one kitchen sink and one bathroom. A 2 GPM flow restrictor is required on the outlet to keep the water from free-flowing while the faucet is open. As long as this is installed there are no issues. Cabin is seasonal with temperatures getting to -30 or below regularly. Compressed air is needed to blow out all the water from the unit. As long as the water is out it does not freeze.

DON'T BUY THIS! HAVE BOUGHT TWO AND BOTH HAVE BUSTED

POOR QUALITY AND KEEP GETTING CHARGED. THE UNIT WAS OFF ALL WINTER AND WE WENT TO TURN IT ON AND THE COPPER IS LEAKING SO THE UNIT IS NO GOOD.

Poor quality - save your money

Upon install there was a loud humming coming from breakers. Company tried to remedy by sending replacement components. All were installed and still the humming was there. They then claimed it must be our power that's the issue. 2 years later, after running on a single breaker (only way it wouldn't hum) per their recommendation, the unit died completely. Just replaced with a Stiebel Eltron unit and guess what, no hum and works perfectly. Poor quality, find a better option and save yourself a lot of time and hassle.

Perfect small home water heater

Installed in the winter in NJ. So water temp is the lowest. Still performs as expected. Heats one low flow shower and a faucet comfortably.

Good quality and value

This is a well-made and capable unit. It has sophisticated temperature control and operates silently and reliably. It is internally identical to the Rheem and Ecosmart 18 kW units. If I could suggest one modification, it would be to add an additional or upsized power supply knockout to accommodate the two parallel electrical supplies required to operate the unit.

Great unit overall!

We have not had any issues with this item. We only gave four stars because we’d love if they would include the t&p valves with this heater. Also, it does require electrical modifications in order to support it (we understand why). Outside of that, we can’t complain and we have had no negative feedback from our end customers.

it is listed as a 7 gpm water heater, but it is actually only a 4.8 gpm unit, stated right on the box. wasted my time and having trouble getting return assistance, watch out
