Great griddle, a definite heavy weight contender

Great griddle very easy to use and works flawlessly. If there is any negative to give it’s the weight, it is not light by any means. Which I suppose is why it works so well holding temp etc. it would be nice given the weight if it had handles to make it a little easier to move around.

Flat top

I'm a professional chef of 24 years owning a pub restaurant we use multiple flat tops in my business. After buying 4 small flat tops i was very frustrated with performance and build quality. In my search for a griddle that performed like my commercial units, i was absolutely impressed with the Halo, by far the closest thing to $5000. Dollar units. The 2 burner option, grease trap, wind proof, leveling and overall look is awesome for the price of this little bad boy. Well worth the money and truly a great griddle for all levels of cooks. Highly recommend.

It’s $100 cheaper from the manufacturer

Great product! Don’t bother buying it from Cabela’s you can get it $100 cheaper from the manufacturer every Friday in November and Cabelas doesn’t believe in price matching in November.

Outstanding travel griddle

We picked this up around 4th of July to take on a trip and use at home while we waiting to get the Elite4b. I love the Elite1b for small tasks and taking on the road.

We have as very small RV. It’s a leisure, travel unity, and this unit fits in it perfectly. Love the grill and love the obvious quality.

Excellent griddle. Very well built. This thing is a tank. Halo obviously took their time to design and build this. It doesn’t feel flimsy like some other griddles. Even the popular ones.

Awesome Griddle - blows away the competition!

The Halo 1B is extremely well designed with excellent build quality and very even heating across the griddle. The custom cover is also very well made. It blows away the competition! My wife and I use it as our main griddle versus a portable, but it’s just the two of us for most dinners. Easily five stars!

Elite 1B

Easy to assemble, high quality product and works fantastic.

Better than the rest.

I have had a couple of griddles now. This is by far the best one I have had. From the fit and finish, the even cooking, wind proof design, spring assisted hinges, screw out legs to level, spatula squeegee, huge grease catch with a ramp over the edge of the grease catch, and quick connect propane hook up. I feel like I can go on and on about it. Super happy with my purchase. My only gripe would be that there was a sticker on the inside of the lid that left a lot of residue and I was too impatient to clean the residue off so it looks like I have some stains.

Great Griddle

Great griddle. Cook all of breakfast at same time, no waiting on one item to cook to start next. Made toasting bread simple. Easy control temperature. Good hamburgers fast. Like being able to choose to use only one side. Highly recommend.

Insanely convenient

I've done a lot of research to find the right portable griddle (for tailgating and dinner parties at the neighbors') and this one sold me on not only the look, but the 2-zone burner. Unlike anything I've seen on other griddles. After seasoning and breaking it in for the first few cooks, it became intuitive. Love this thing!

Just the worst.Please folks buy your unit from Amazon, not direct. They do not take logical returns and have no production inspectors for poor quality builds of what could be great griddle

Elite 1B Greatness

The 1B griddle is amazing certainly appreciate discounts for veterans. The 1B is a well engineered product with sturdy construction and useful features many competitors do not have. That being said I’ve had some difficulty with the website registration and registering the product itself. No serial number on the ID tag and other registration issues have not made the whole process smooth. My product packaging felt like it was a return but never used. The review of 1B is 5 star but some room for improvement in other areas. I do intend to purchase other Halo products in the future.

Grill cooks really hot and the middle is scorching vs. the rest of the grill surface, very uneven experience. The positive is it is built very solid.

Best portable grill

Its very portable, yet large enough to feed a good amount of people. Only thing I wish it had was a grease griddle trap grate like the 2b-4b.

The best griddle around

Simply awesome. From the fast preheat, to precise temp. regulations, it is a prefect size for a family of four at home, or on the road. Lightweight design, easy to clean, and very convenient. The grease cup is easy to remove and dump. The squeegee is perfect and the griddle seasons up quickly. It beat the Blackstone on heating time. It can heat with the lid closed, and it makes great burgers, stir fry, scrambles and even steaks!
