Deceptive Burner Sizing

Fake big burner makes evenly cooking food impossible. Your big burner will not heat the whole pan...only a small portion in the center. Your food will burn in the middle and not cook around the sides. Although the cooktop appears to have three different burner sizes, this is a lie...there is only the small size under all four burners. If your purpose is just to heat water you'll be fine, but evenly cooking food is not possible on the fake "large" burner.

Fake Big Burner

Impossible to evenly cook food on the big burner because it only heats the center of the pan. Basically this unit uses the teeny burner underneath all four, despite appearing to have three different sizes. Also hard to fine tune a temperature; it seems to want to go full blast or nothing. I'm burning things at level 3. If you want a good induction cooktop experience try a brand name like GE.

melted my pot

Been using it for about 5 months and we loved it! Until the back large burner melted my pot! As my husband moved it off the burner, the bottom of the pot was welded to the glass burner and broke the glass!

Style and performance

I didn’t know about this company but we are super impressed with the style and performance and the quality and also American made.

Induction cooking is great

Love it. Heat response is so much faster than electrical heating element stoves tops. The only draw back is finding cookware that works with the induction heating. Some cookware will say they are induction compatible but are not. Most cookware today is made of aluminum which does not have magnetic properties.

I love this cooktop!

I love this cooktop. It heats up rapidly, tells you if the surface is hot and is super easy to clean. It also saves me a lot of money since I stopped needing propane.

Wonderful experience

We bought a 30" cooktop and it looks and works great! Modern look and very durable, though the detail around the individual burners takes a bit of time to clean. I highly recommend the glass top! Pretty easily installed it without much effort at all (hardest part was pulling out the old one). Wonderful experience overall and happy customers!

Nice cooktop for the price

Overall for the price, this is a nice cook top. It is sleek and the design is attractive. It does shut off randomly for us; not sure if that’s on the appliance side or it could be something with the electrical.

It was easy to learn how to use.

At first I thought it must be to good to be true . But after a bit of debating , we decided to purchase it , and I could not be happier with it ! It is sleek , makes our kitchen look updated, and with its completely flat surface it is a dream to keep spotless! Based on usage of my Empava 30 inch induction cooktop for the past month I am glad I made the purchase at this website. The cooktop is attractive and performs well. It heats food in pots and pans much quicker than my previous electric resistance coil cooktop and is easier to keep clean. The unit has a wide range of heating levels to satisfy any cooking I will do. Installation was easy and the customer service during order placement was excellent.
