Beautiful cooktop

Just bought this to replace old cooktop and really haven’t used it yet. I love the design and ease of installation .the reviews were excellent and one of the reasons I purchased this. Looking forward to cooking on this cooktop

had to replace on old coil electric cooktop, but had to upsize due to old sizing. has been easy to use and seems to be good and even heating overall.

I purchased an electric glass cooktop from Best Buy which unfortunately was defective. I must commend the Best Buy team for their courtesy in processing a return and refund for me.

Do not waste your time or money on Thor products! I purchased this brand new Cooktop November 2023. It is June 2024 and I have not been able to cook in my kitchen! That is ridiculous, Thee cooktop came damaged and I reported it to Thor they had a gentleman come out. to repair it. Of course there is parts that needed to be ordered to fix the cooktop. Thor does not have the parts, the claim the parts are on back order. Back order for 8 MONTHS!!! I regret ever purchasing their product! What a waste. Thor should not be selling products they do not have parts for. They were supposedly supposed to reach out to me and never did. Terrible.

Could not even start the unit. Waited $200 on installation. Home Depot customer service was awesome, they took the unit back. I lost $200 due to selecting Thor

I bought it 2 months ago and I love it. It cooks my food faster than my old stove.

Easy to install, heat's up fast, easy clean up. We have had it for around a month now and so far so good. It was picked up at the store which was a breeze and very attentive service people.

Dont buy this model. Best buy was few weeks late delivering the product to me. Once I receive the product. It's broken inside. Best buy response is - passed return/exchange date. Call Thor. Called Thor. they answered. The person in customer service said to put a Warranty service request online. 24 response time. 24 hours also passed. no one contacted. Only thing I have is a broken $766 cooktop, no help. Had to pay $200 for electrician to install back my old Whirlpool cooktop. What a waste of money. I read the online other reviews and thought Thor is good brand. Learning it hard way.

Could be a lot better

I owned kitchenaid model cooktop for over 15 years and loved it… because I couldn’t find a part to repair one burner had to replace the whole cooktop and found this one! I had very high hopes! When the item arrived I loved the position of the burners and the controls are completely different than other models out there.it took some time getting used to the controls set up. It has a nice feature that my old cooktop didn’t have is you can set timers on individual burners and it will turn off the burner once the time runs out. The important feature that I did have on my old cooktop is not on this one is the ability to cook on low/simmer or melting/keep warm settings. Even though this stovetop has a range of 1-9 the setting on one will still boil the contents of the pot and not keep them on low, and that is the feature I miss and wish it was there as I used it quite often. Maybe it could be reprogrammed by the manufacturer, if it’s not built that way then maybe after this review they will build better ones.

[Rewarded Review] Great features and layout

I selected this cooktop based on the features and reviews, and I am not disappointed. I have had electric cooktops in the past and hated them. I have always preferred gas, and was thinking I would use this cooktop for a while and eventually have gas run to the kitchen in this house. This cooktop has changed my opinion on electric. The touch controls give a broad range of even temperature control. I especially like the feature that links two burners with center heat for large oblong cookware, amd syncs the heat.

Thor Kitchen TEC36 36 Inch Wide 5 Burner Electric Cooktop - great choice

Perfect fit for replacement of my 20 year old cooktop. The burners heat up quickly and the bridge function is great for pancake griddle. Glass surface is a bit more difficult to clean than my previous model. Perhaps its the difference between Ceran glass and whatever this one has. Great price for the product though. Shipping was very speedy and packaging in good condition.

So far so good. Hoping that it will stand up to a tenant's use.
