Functional, sturdy, and stylish

The Black Full Mate's 6-drawer Platform Storage Bed was perfect for my small NYC apartment bedroom. It was sturdy and functional-with 6 large drawers that I could store all my clothes in. It totally eliminated the need for a dresser.

Purchased for my teenage daughter. She needed more storage so the drawers underneath work perfectly. Easy to assemble, sturdy and she loves it. We actually purchased the matching chest of drawers and nightstand.

This bed is well designed and is a great space saver. It has three drawers on each side. The draws are deep enough to store quite a bit of clothes, blankets or anything else you choose.

This bed is a nightmare to put together. I don’t recommend purchasing this if you are not handy. The instructions were not user friendly. The paint scratches easily causing noticeable scratches Once the bed is put together I’ll be able to share more information

The bed was delivered in three boxes. All the hardware was there and the instructions were clear. My husband and I had it together in about an hour. People complained about the drawers not lining up but ours are great. I made sure to take a square around to each corner to make sure the bed was square. It looks beautiful. We added a knob on each drawer just to make it easier to open.

The bed is perfect for the space. However the slats fall out of the grooves and the bed twist causing the drawers to not close properly. If you have a rambunctious child, might not be a good idea. Perfect for a spare bedroom. We'll made and easy to put together

Terrible Quality, Poor Design

SO So bad. Slats are warped and a nightmare to assemble into the sharp metal holder. Which run vertically (head to foot), not horizontal like every other bed. The slats easily slide out/ collapse, which is certainly not safe for children. Drawers are tiny. DO NOT recommend. Much better off with an IKEA bed

NOT a queen bed!!

"The practical design of this Queen Platform Storage Bed" is a flat out lie. This is NOT A QUEEN PLATFORM. Our queen mattress does not fit AT ALL. And now we have to go buy another mattress just to fit this thing and downgrade in size from what we have. 100% unsatisfied.

Just put this bed together and it seems sturdy and the drawers slide nicely. It’s for my son and I like it better than the $** storage bed I purchased for myself at rooms to go. I’m not super handy and I was able to put it together by myself. It did take white a while but was not difficult, only time consuming. Good directions and only missing one easy to replace screw.

Crappy Workmanship, but not bad for price

Overall, easy to put together. Can do with 1 person if you know what you are doing. But really crappy workmanship. Many areas were missing paint. Every single one of the front panels of the drawers had areas that were never painted. The Cam pins are really cheap, and as soon as you begin to tighten, had multiple pins break. But, after it was together, it was not a bad looking piece. Just need to touch up the black paint here and there.

As others have said. This is very difficult to put together. It’s a 2 person job for sure. 3 of 6 drawers don’t close flush. I also received a broken slat - the wood was split. After many emails to customer service I was promised a replacement slat. I’m not holding my breath. On the buggy side. Drawers are a good size.

Bought this full Storage drawer platform bed for three of our children’s rooms. The storage drawers are great. Good solution without adding dressers. Only problem is if you put the bed against the wall, three drawers are blocked. I suppose you could put off-season closing in the drawers against the wall. It does require assembly. Be prepared for a few hours of aggravation, but then you you’ll be happy with your purchase. Too bad it doesn’t come preassembled! LOL I’ve had these sets now for seven years, believe it or not, and they’re still holding up despite the fact that they are not high end furniture. One set did not hold up and the frame pulled apart on one corner. Had to fix with a corner bracket from the hardware store. If this hadn’t happened, Would have given four or five stars. Otherwise, the other two sets of held up well.

great bed for tight spaces

i have both the twin and this size. simple and compact design is great for tight spaces plus the added drawers are fantastic. all bed edges are sharp! handle with care. it took me 3 hours to assemble the twin bed and almost 8 hours to assemble the full/queen. i highly recommend this product.

I purchased two of these for my sons. I would not buy them again for the following reasons: they were hard to put together and over time parts of the frame has started to fall apart... the slates came out of the supports, the screws popped out of the fake wood, other screws have come undone. The only reason I have not had to replace them? the drawers underneath the mattress is holding the slats.
