Nothing wrong with the pan

Nothing wrong with the pan. but when I received it, there was an obvious dent in the base. Since there was no damage to the packaging, I can only assume the person at Chef Supplies who placed the pan in the box didn't care they were sending a damaged product. The dent doesn't affect the functionality of the pan, so I won't go through the effort of sending it back.

The Best Springform

This springform pan is a beast! It’s sturdy, weighty, and holds its shape. No leaks. I expect this springform will outlast me.

Quality Made

Tired of the cheaper coated springform pans peeling no matter how I babied them. They still work but they rust. Never more with these pans. The quality of these pans would put them at heirloom category if cleaned and cared for. They will outlast one user. Nice fit of the bottom to the side ring. I've noticed complaints that some people had unacceptable butter leakage when baking a crust. The problem is not the pan seal but that the bakers are using too much butter in the crust. The pan seal is not sold as liquid proof. Buy one you will enjoy it.

Quality all the way around this pan

I reviewed the 10" now the 9". The bottom rim does make water bath usage a little problematic if you are used to wrapping the pan with foil. I purchased a 14x3 round to handle the 10 and smaller pans. I still wrap with foil but use the wider heavy duty foil. I'm sold on a water bath for the recipe I use a more creamy textured cheesecake. No cracks though. This pan is nice and it has a lemon wafer crust baked in it right now for a 9" lemon curd cheesecake. The quality of this brand is great and I have numerous sizes of round x 3" but only the 9" and 10" springform. I find no fault with them. Please hand wash though. Caustic dishwasher soap will discolor aluminum pans.

Fat Daddios top notch

I bought this Fat Daddio professional springform pan. Found it on Amazon but it was cheaper at Walmart. The best investment and the best cheesecake pan, due to if there is a leak it leaks in to a lip attached to the pan and never never causes any mess or fuss no need to wrap foil around and cause condensation which turns to steam if you love to make cheesecake or any other cakes that require aprin which causes excessive water to get in to your cheesecake. Love love ❤️ this pan. Walmart is my go to for all things needed. Prices are cheaper and free shipping no matter what you order.

The perfect pan

I got this 9 pan because I was happy with the quality of two 8 pans that I got before. There well made. Aluminum means they cook evenly and stick less than other pans without having to have the problems of scratched up Teflon. This pan is solidly made and doesn't leak.

Really good pan. The locking mechanism keeps thicker batter like a cheesecake from leaking out which is my main use case. The pan itself isn't leakproof as mentioned elsewhere online. So it's not good for bain-marie baking in a gentler water setting. So I just don't use it for that. Liquid batter would probably leak out but I haven't tested that.

Round Springform Cake Pan

Haven't used this yet, but have wanted one of these for a long time now. Finally I broke down and bought one. I love how strong the spring form is on the cake pan. I have a particular recipe I needed it for and will try it out soon.

SPRINGFORM PAN

I HAD TO BUY A NEW ONE BECAUSE MY OLD TIN ONE LEAKED AND WAS DISPOSED OF RUSTY. THIS NEW ONE IS ALUMINUM AND THE BASE WORKS AS A DECENT SERVING PLATE. I PUT SARAN ON THE LEFT OVERS AND PLACED THE SPRINGFRORM BACK ON TO STORE.

Worked great

I made a Spekkoek (Indonesian thousand-layer spice cake) and mailed it in the pan. I was a little worried about the 550-degree limit since I was using it under the broiler but it was fine. It got where it was going in great shape and the cake plate bottom was a nice touch.

Horrible leakage - much worse than pans half the price!

Lots of leaking at the seam as well as other points around the base. Will be returning and reverting back to some of the cheapo favorites. I suspect that it would be fine if you are only planning to do things with crusts (e.g., cheesecake) AND without immersing in water (e.g., not cheesecake - so, not sure how that would work), but certainly does not work for a freeform batter.

Fantastic

I purchased one of these at my northern home and love the style of it. I really like the extra lip on the bottom so that any excess will stay in the pan rather than leaking in the oven. Cheesecakes are cooked perfectly with no sticking. I purchased this one for my FL home. After using these, I couldn't go back to a non Daddio's springform pan. I personally highly recommend.

Loved This

I'm an amateur baker. I really wanted to purchase the cheesecake pan for the same brand but I ended up purchasing this one. The spring form was easy to remove and to put it back on the base even though the crust of the cheesecake is already in the pan. After my cheesecake was done it was also easy to remove.

Simply The Best

I ordered three types of Fat Daddio's cheesecake pans, and they did not disappoint. My regular cheesecakes are very tall, and this springform variety supports every delicious centimeter. These pans heat and cool so quickly, it's a great help in moving from one step to the next, important when you have lots to do. Clean-up is remarkably easy. Great pricing; I can't say enough good things. A superior product!
