Finish is sub-par. It’s rough. Almost afraid I’m going to get a splinter when sitting on it. It looks kind of discolored. It’s not like you can easily replace this seat. It’s bolted into the tile wall. I would not recommend purchasing this brand.

This is a nice seat. However a full template would have helped the install. Instead an 8x11 template was supplied that has to be cut in half and then quadruple measured to get it right. C'mon people, make a decent template!

Dont trust this seat - poorly engineered

The use of dissimilar metals and water will cause the softer metal to corrode. The process is called electrolysis. As in my case (see the photo below). Sudden failure.

Not installed yet. Looks good, but concerned that the hardware housing covers are plastic. Called the manufacturer and they assured me there should be insures with cleaning or deterioration.

When I took care of my mother during her hospice time of life, she needed a seat in the shower. When I remodeled the bathroom on the main level I was thinking about when we grow old and what we'll need. I absolutely love how the seat folds away. It's a great feature for when you're shaving your legs but without giving away the real estate in shower.

installed in a client's bathroom, and they just love it. Very nicely constructed, polished chrome was perfect to match the rest of their hardware, seat was not too big nor small & wall was blocked out originally and then tiles set. Make sure that you block out the area for installation on a hard wall as it will need this type of installation. Without it, it will not work properly or could tear out part of your wall.

Compact shower bench

It is nice and compact and looks nice in the shower. The wood will last. The mounting hardware does not like water but still lasted ten years before having to replace because of corrosion. Overall good product.

This is a space-saving but comfortable and sturdy shower seat. It feels very secure and is nice to have in the shower for saving my legs!

During our last visit I tried to return a box of unused wall tile. I was told I could not because they were purchased over 90 days before. I was very disappointed. The reason it took so long was because of the contractor. What can you do to make me happy??

The trim was not a satin finish, as ordered. That said, nice product. Should use better method for attaching slats to frame; standard screws are a bad idea.

Looks great. It's well supported with 2x10 backing behind the porcelain slab. It certainly is solid, and I have sat on it, but I'm still a bit worried about it cracking the slab, so I don't use it much. I'm 200 lbs. My wife does use it. If I did it again, I would but a water proof clear finish on the cedar slats. The do dull over time being exposed to the shower water.

I have a average size shower and needed something to sit on but did not want anything that would take up space this is so perfect my Daughter stopped by to see me and said I have got to have one .It is perfect,I love it !

The shower seat worked out great. The look of it is good and takes up no room when closed. The only thing that could be improved is to have the templated the correct z size and not have to cut it in half to get it the correct size.

I love this seat and made sure in my brand new shower remodel we put in enough backing support for it. I’ve gotten lost of compliments on it. Well made.

You can relax in the shower without standing.

The mounting was difficult because the studs did not match the brackets. I did NOT want to wind up on the floor of my tub. Very nice once it was hung with expanding anchors & a few other touches.

Pleased with the purchase of the Teak Wood Teak Wall Mount Shower Chair. The finish seems to be very durable. The installation was pretty straight forward and the seat is plenty sturdy. I had to use wall anchors I had left over from another project since this only came with screws because the location I wanted to mount didn't have studs in the wall. I definitely would recommend it to friends and family.

5 stars for the simplicity of its design and robust build quality. Definitely has a Scandinavian feel to it and the teak wood is a great choice for wet environments. It isn’t particularly large, so if you are 220lbs and up, you might need to keep searching.

Fittings in part are plastic. Innards easily can rust out. Seems like this could present a serious danger potential. Only bought this because it had to fit our walk-in shower when the Houzz original seat needed replacement because it was, in essence, a piece of junk.
