Multiple uses.

I used it as a towel rack. Gave it a heavier, but sleek look. Different than others.

Excellent Value

Very solid grab bar...mounted with 2 - 3 screws (provided) in each end. With 16" on-center studs had to install at an angle. There is enough plate mounting variations to ensure the most efficient mounting. Excellent quality, reasonable price.

Easy Mount

Easier to mount than other Grip Bars with more usable mounting holes and slots.

Life saving solution!

This was the perfect solution for my needs. I installed this bar for a friend that had a knee replacement and it helps her go up two steps from the garage to the house. She is not young nor strong and lives alone, so this assistance was perfect for the short term as well as her long term needs

Moen 24” Grab Bar

We’ll made, high quality thinner (in diameter) 24” stainless steel grab bar provides needed support without being too conspicuous. Confident it has comparable strength as the bigger bars. Install was quick and simple.

Careful if replacing existing grab bar!

Had the same product and and brand was replacing it. It seemed flimsy amd easily scratches, seams cheaply made compared to the previous one I had. The worst part was I was the mounting holes and footing is shorter than the existing one and supposedly both were 23”??? Really didn’t want to drill additional holes!!!

Just what we needed

The grab bar is exactly what we needed. We screwed a 1 x 4 into the sheetrock before installing to make it more sturdy. After I touch up the paint, it will look perfect.

One major flaw

If you buy this grab bar buy 6 new screws for it. The screws that came with it had tiny flanges and made with soft enough medal that all six were stripped before they screwed all the way in. Pilot holes were drilled properly so it did not take much for the screwdriver to slip and as soon as it did they were completely stripped. I had to back them out with pliers and replace them with decent screws. I gave it 2 stars because once I used a good screw it works fine, but that is a big enough flaw that I cannot give it a better review.

better than the cheaper ones.

at first i was going for the cheaper ones, when i got them home & looked at them they didn't have a cover for the screws so i took them back & got these. these also have more ways to mount (more holes to put screws in).

Moen Grab Bar

bought several weeks ago. Put it on a post for the landing/stairs in our garage. Very pleased. Only 2 steps so did not warrant a railing going down steps so put this on the side of the post for the landing. Perfect

solid grab bar

This bar looks good and works well, so far. However, the length means that you will not likely find 2 studs to screw this into. It would be super nice if they had included special hardware, so plan on buying additional hardware to securely install it in your shower!

Serviceable, looks good, fairly easy to install.

You need an extra long drill and screwdriver bit or else the drill chuck rubs on the bar when screwing the plates to the wall. Otherwise, simple to install. People need to have a studfinder! I've installed two of these; they work very well.

[Rewarded Review] Grab bar for shower

My wife is having stability problems following back fusion surgery, making it difficult to get out of our walk-in shower when things are wet. I installed the 24 inch grab bar vertically close to the shower door, very helpful for her.

[Rewarded Review] Perfect help to get into or out of the tub

We found we needed to replace our tub and shower surround after the fixtures pulled loose due to improper installation of all of the plumbing except the drain. A General Contractor came in and demoed the old unit and completely replaced the tub with a metal tub and tiled the shower surround including raising the shower head and installing the grab bar at the head end of the tub. The tub is 17 inches deep and the grab bar gives stability for anyone getting into or out of the tub, avoiding the risk of injury to themselves. The product is stainless steel, very sturdy and securely anchored, all of which were required attributes prior to purchase.

[Rewarded Review] Great Grab Bar

My wife has a tough time stepping up the one step from the garage to the house. I was trying to figure out how to make a transition step, and someone suggested a shower grab bar. What a great idea. This Moen 24 inch bar is the perfect length and works fine. My wife was thrilled with the installation as it makes it much easier and safer for her to take that step while holding the bar.

[Rewarded Review] Works well

Fairly easy for one person to install. Looks good when in place and it's surface is not slippery. It would be good if the Phillips indents on the screws were deeper; I stripped one. Also, it might be good if the drill recommended was one size larger, it took a lot of pressure to set the screws.

[Rewarded Review] Quality Product

My father-in-law purchased and installed 3 of these grab bars in our bathroom when my husband became ill. I did not realize until I read someone’s review here that the grab bars are not meant for pulling on. However, we have a friend who is over 350 pounds and over 6’6” and this person has pulled himself up on it (off the commode) many times and the bar is still safely in place. This grab bar, like other Moen products, is sturdy, attractive, easy to install, and does the job it was designed to do. One has kept us safe in the shower. The second one is used to assist in getting off of the commode, and the third one is great to have handy for helping us keep our balance in the bathroom. We will be buying more for the second bathroom as we make that one handicap accessible, also.

[Rewarded Review] Excellent purchase

I bought this to assist my parents in the shower as they are getting up there in age (so am I). Mobility is difficult for them, Dad weighs almost 400 lbs and it supports his weight with no problem. Mom is shorter and has movement issues and now feels more confident getting in and out of the shower. Style blends in well with shower tub surround and looks like it actually belongs there, not an eye sore at all!

[Rewarded Review] Moen 24" grab bar works great

I installed this grab bar in a shower which has glazed tiles. The tile went all the way to the ceiling so there was no way to definitely tell where the studs were. Drilling trial holes was not an option for finding studs. I decided to mount with Toggler Snaptoggle heavy duty 1/4" toggle bolts. They hold up to 265# in 1/2" drywall per the package. Moen makes a grab bar mounting anchor but it requires a 1 1/4" hole. I located the grab bar at an angle exactly where I wanted it and marked 2 bolt locations at each end. (There are 3 bolt holes at each end and Moen supplied 6 screws.) I first drilled a 1/8" pilot hole using a Kobalt glass and tile bit. I then inserted a metal coat hanger wire and felt around as much as possible to ensure that I had drilled all the way through and that I was not over a plumbing line. I then used a Kobalt 1/2" glass and tile bit to drill the final mounting hole. Those bits drilled through the tile without a problem. I then mounted two 1/4" toggle bolts at each end. Note that this is not an ordinary toggle bolt. It is a "Heavy Duty" toggle bolt. The number on the package is 50400 and there are 2/package. The bar is solid and I am pleased with the installation. If any of my 4 holes had gone into a stud, I would have used screws, but they did not hit anything.
