Cooktop seems to heat up quicker than my 21-year-old unit ever did. I did as the owner instructions said and cleaned the cooktop prior to its first use with the Cerama Bryte that was included and it has cleaned up easily after each use. I've only had it for 2 weeks, but I am pleased so far.

Bumped up our 30 inch stove top to this 36 inch so that our cooking area wasn’t so congested. Love everything about this cook top especially the controls being off to the side!!!

My cooktop was installed on a Friday. I used the left front element three times. By Monday night, while browning ground beef, it stopped working. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a serviceman to come out. He took it apart and the element had gone out already. A new element had to be ordered. I have had this cooktop now for 19 days, and the new element will be installed tomorrow. Otherwise, I love the looks of the cooktop. The knobs are down the right side. The two large burners are in the front. It has a "Quick Boil" feature that is wonderful. The two back burners are smaller and the middle back burner is a warm zone place. I have been cleaning my cooktop with Cerama Bryte, which came with it and the cooktop has cleaned up very nicely. I am glad that I purchased Lowe's three year service plan, in case my cooktop has problems after Frigidaire's warranty period has expired.

Very reliable stove, heats up very quickly and consistently. Even though it is a glass cooktop, it is sturdy enough that you can still use cast iron on it if you are careful.

Defected electric cooktop

We've got our 36" Frigidaire electric cooktop on 5/16/24 and it was installed next day.

I had a Whirlpool solid surface cooktop for years it NEVER scratched up as much as this one-and before you say anything... I don't drag my cookware across the top. One burner knob just snapped off at the stem... luckily I rarely use that burner. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this one! I havent even used this one for 1 year.
