[Rewarded Review] Portable AC
I bought this portable air conditioner due to price, features and of course, the brand! I have the Frigidaire Gallery kitchen appliances in stainless steel and love them! So, this air conditioner is of course, just as good. Efficient, quiet, does the job that I needed. Having this on wheels also helps when moving it as well. Thank you!
Window insert is backwards
This took significantly longer to install than it should have. It took me a while to figure out the part that goes in the window is backwards. The instructions, photos on the box and the online videos all had the hole for venting on the right side but for some reason my unit had the vent on the left side. We had to move furniture around to make this work but given that this is meant for a small space we didn’t have too many options for furniture placement. I regret buying this.
Not really worth it
Worked great in the beginning after a year it started to go. It’s all a fan now and doesn’t cool like it did in beginning. Trying to call customer service is a nightmare
Great product
Great product, cools a small bedroom with no problem . I’m very happy with the portable air.
[Rewarded Review] Portable 3-1 Air Conditioner Cools Quickly & Consistently
I actually got a better deal from Frigidaire than Amazon and received it faster. At first due to the extreme heat in Los Angeles, the a/c wouldn’t stay on, but once I switched to high cool from auto the wonderful cooling began. A caster wheel was broke and the hose leaked a little hot air but not enough to interfere with cooling. I believe Frigidaire will fix this problem. A health saver.
Stopped cooling between 12 months and 18 months
Was super excited for the first few weeks of use, but it gradually cooled less and less and now it is just blowing room temperature air around. Bought it two years ago, and I would guess it lasted 18 months top. Not going to bother trying to get a repair or refund.
Very satisfied with it. Easy to assemble, very easy to maneuver, it’s not loud as people say and very simple to operate.
Great air conditioner
I purchase about 2 months ago find that it cool my room very fast noise could be less east to move around but heavy if needs to lift
[Rewarded Review] Regret buying
Unit had electrical issues from the start. Turning off, switching from cool to fan, then after a couple months, started generating 2 gallons of water every night while on “cool”, not dry. Never was capable of cooling the size room it says it should. Replaced under warranty. Hoping second unit is better.
Works okay when ordering said for rooms up to 350 sq. Ft now I see it listed as 150sq.ft. Might be why it doesn’t cool my room that is 300 sq.ft.
[Rewarded Review] portable ac unit
works very well. Used it for 3 weeks while my central air was being replaced
Gets the job done!
Purchased for use in basement apartment when my daughter came home from college. Was worried that it would be very noisy, but is actually pretty quiet. Cools the entire bedroom quickly and efficiently. Definitely worth the price if you need to cool a room or two. The remote control isn’t the best and the auto-off timer is a bit temperamental, but the AC works great otherwise.
Not truly portable. Originally described as not having needing an exhaust vent. Now that is in the description and the price was reduced by $20.
Stopped working with in days. Has a P1 code which states it needs to be drained. Drained the unit after a few minutes the code comes back on.
Fan swinging option did not work and the window unit was cracked. Where's quality control ?
[Rewarded Review] Works well and cools the space quickly for the price
Works as expected. Installation was a little challenging for a vertical sliding window but I made it work with a minor adjustment. I was surprised how much water collects and needs to be emptied daily. Twice or sometimes more on humid days. Cannot leave it on if I don't have time to monitor and empty collection.
Smaller then most, but still does the job..and it is not heavy like most portable units
I mean it works kinda… it just doesn’t have the juice to cool as much area as it says it would for me. If I had to do it over again I’d just cut a hole and do a window unit. That’s probably what I’ll end up having to do anyway.
[Rewarded Review] First time ductless owner
We have only used it a few times but love it so far
[Rewarded Review] Just Cool it!
After weeks of a July heat wave, I decided to buy a portable AC for my bedroom. To be honest, my criteria depended on the price and brand. Because Frigidaire has a favorable reputation, and the price was within my range, I chose the 8000BTU Model.
