Best pan I've ever had

This pan is amazing. I love that it is heavy duty enough to cook in, as well as use my hand mixer in while still being light enough to easy move around. The handle is very solid and doesn't get hot when cooking. The glass lid has a nice weep hole in it when boiling things to let the steam out. I would highly recommend this pan for anyone.

Perfect sized pot my kitchen was missing.

Babish 3 1/2 quart stainless steel sauce pot with glass lid. I have never owned one myself but have used in a work kitchen. This pot size is perfect, is heavy duty and beautifully made. I hand wash and dry it per manufacturer directions. Lid and handle can get very hot with use so use a hot pad. Salt will pit or leave marks on stainless steel so only add while food is cooking or boiling. Reading the enclosed use and care sheet is important for first time stainless steel users. I needed this size pot in my collection and use it quite often. Bravo Babish.

Excellent Saucepan

I love my new Babish Stainless Steel 3.5 quart Saucepan. I have used it many times since getting it and it works perfectly every time. I first used it to make some fresh rhubarb jam and it was exactly the pan I needed! I have also used it to cook a variety of other things and it is a great pan. It is very solid and feels heavy duty. It also cooks evenly and is a great size saucepan. The handle does not get hot while cooking with it on the stovetop, which is very nice. It is easy to grip securely so no worry about spilling anything. It has a nice sturdy tempered glass lid with a vent. This pan is also oven safe to 500 degrees and the lid to 350 degrees. I can't say enough about how great this saucepan is. I know it's just a saucepan but having the right good quality tools in the kitchen is very important to me since i cook a lot, so it makes my life much easier!

The Babish 18/8 Stainless steel tri -ply 3.5 qt. Sauce pan with lid can be use on all cook tops including induction stoves.Before first use , hand wash with warm, soapy water and wipe dry immediately. Use handles when cooking and lifting .Do not drag off from stove tops to prevent scratching. The pan is oven safe up to 500*F (350*F with glass lid) Do not use microwave or broiler. When ready to use preheat pan for a few minutes on low or medium heat .Once heated add oil. You may use metal, wood, plastic, and heat resistant nylon tools. Sticking can happen if using high heat only except boiling. Do not use knifes, sharp kitchen tools , or electric hand mixers. When cleaning allow pan to cool first .To remove burn food fill pan with a small amount of water heat on low heat until food is soft. Gently remove with a scouring pad and use stainless steel cleaning products. Dishwasher is safe to use , but hand washing is recommended to prolong product life.To avoid water spots dry immediately after washing. This saucepan is well made .I highly recommend it .

Very nice pot

I love this pot. It has some weight to it so it is very durable and I absolutely love the design. It is great for cooking mashed potatoes and gravy,macaroni and cheese,or just heating up your favorite soup. I love this pot so much I may get a few more to use when I have family visit for the holidays. I definately recommend grabbing one if you haven't already.

Excellent pan for everyday use!

I have not owned a stainless steel pan in at least 15 years, this pan is a must have. This pan is good for everything, since I'm cooking only for myself for another 2 weeks this pan does the trick. I like that this pan is deep so that you can use it for boiling vegetables, pasta and pasta sauce. I made one pan pasta and ham dish and I love that it did not stick to the bottom as it would with my other pans. This pan is heavy, so you may have to use 2 hands when cooking certain foods. Cleanup is so easy, which was very convenient, I did not have to presoak at all. I will definitely be buying other pieces, this pan got me hooked to stainless steel cookware again.

This stainless steel sauce pan with a see-through lid is by the Babish brand. It is 3.5qt in volume. On the top, its diameter is about 8.25 inches. It is made with Tri-ply 18/8 stainless steel. Its materials are very good. Because of its Tri-ply 18/8 stainless steel, it has a very good thickness, hence, it has a very solid feel. It has a double-riveted cast handle for safe and secure handling. I think it is going to last a very long time. Overall, I am very happy with its solid and quality construction with very good quality materials. This is a very good quality sauce pan with lid. I would recommend it highly.

Awesome pot

This stainless steel pot is the best pit I have owned in 40 years of cooking. I absolutely love it. The pot is heavy with a large handle and a glass top. The handle has a nice large hole for hanging it . The bottom of the pot is plain stainless steel. The pot can be used in the oven. It is dishwasher safe but it is preferred that it is hand washed. This is an amazing pot. I highly recommend it.

High quality cookware!

This stainless saucepan feels super high-quality and should be versatile and last many years in anyone's kitchen. Stainless steel is getting what you see: its bare metal and food can stick to it however you can scrub on it if you do happen to burn something. I really love this handle too because it simply just didn't get hot either grabbing it right out of a hot dishwasher, or when I was boiling some eggs in the pan. It fills the hand well and I felt really confident holding it while pouring out the boiling water. The glass lid is fantastic too, you can see exactly what is going on without letting out all the steam if you're like me and cook rice in a sauce pan.

Very impressed with this sauce pan

Such a great sauce pan. I am very impressed by the Babish Stainless Steel 3.5qt sauce pan. It is a nice size and so well made. It heats up very quickly cooks evenly and cleans up great with soap and water. Will highly recommend babish products.

A Quality Pan

At first I had doubts about how evenly this saucepan would heat on the bottom. After using it on an electric range, I was really impressed. Most of the stainless pans I have used in the past had the encapsulated base for even heat. This Babish pan did spread the heat as evenly as any other pan I've used in the past. I used it for the first time to make peach pie filling. It did the job perfectly and without anything sticking to the bottom of the pan. The handle is solid and cool to the touch. The lid that came with it is glass with a steel handle and is vented. The handle does get too hot to touch without a potholder. My only complaint with this pan is the weight. For someone who has arthritis, I don't think this would be an ideal pan for them to use. It is a really heavy pan. Cleanup was easy since nothing had stuck to the bottom of the pan. I think using stainless steel pots and pans take getting used to in order to not overheat them causing food to stick and causing them to discolor. I think as long as this pan is correctly used and cared for, it will give many years of satisfactory service. (As long as you can deal with the heavy weight, and that's the reason I knocked off one star.)

Love It!

I love this saucepan! It’s heavy, but not too heavy. Feels very substantial. Has a great balance to it. Everything cooks up easily and it cleans very easy. Follow the directions and heat oil in it first.

The Babish stainless steel 3.5 saucepan is a great addition to my kitchen cookware. It is heavy enough to prevent burning food while cooking but not as uncomfortably heavy as cast iron. The size is good for cooking soups, stews, or pasta for most medium-size families. The stainless steel finish is easy to clean.

Babish Stainless Steel 3.5 Qt Sauce Pan w/Lid

Used the Babish Stainless Steel 3.5 qt Professional grade sauce pan last night to make mac and cheese. Like the style of handle on the lid and the clear glass lid. Makes it easy to see how the food is cooking. The Stainless Steel 3.5 qt. pot is a good size and love the round bottom of the sauce pan.

Nice heavy duty shiny pot

Heavy duty pot, shiny metal, perfect size for small to medium portion options. Cooks amazing, doesn't burn, doesn't stick, and holds a decent amount. Its not light weight, but not too heavy where you cant hold it either. Its just right.

Big upgrade to non-stick

Fantastic Sauce Pan!

I love my new Babish Stainless Steel Sauce Pan! I've been wanting a little bit bigger sauce pan for awhile now and this fit the bill! It's heavy duty and it feels like an excellent quality pan which I'm thrilled with! The directions tell you to hand wash only and how to care for your new pan. I've been using it for a week straight so far and I'm just loving it! I've made sauces in it along with cooking potatoes, pastas, etc. I've had no issues with cooking or clean it. It's a really nice quality pan!

Excellent quality

Amazing quality, larger than expected. Perfect for boiling potatoes, pasta and many other things. So far I’ve stuck this in the dishwasher and it’s come out looking new. This pan is made to last, I love it. Had no issues with anything sticking. I would definitely recommend.
