It is horrible and after trying to just love with it, I simply can’t stand it anymore so will be replacing it with a white farmhouse sink. The white film is constant ugly looking and nothing is helping that is eco-friendly. Spend more time trying to clean the sink then doing the dishes. I do not recommend the sink for that reason, as well as the fact that there are sparkly little speckles in it which is tacky.

Better Than A Side by Side

Replaced the old double bowl sink in our Air B&B with this single bowl. The first one came and the corner was broken. I called Ferguson and they replaced it within a few days, great customer service. Looks great water comes in water goes out what more can you ask for.

Excellent quality, super straightforward/easy installation, and looks even better in person. We are a family of 7 and our sinks take a real beating. This sink is so beautiful but also built like a tank. I could not be happier about this purchase. I went back and forth between the black version of this sink and the gray. Ultimately settled on gray and it was definitely the right choice. Will match well with just about any counter, wall color, backsplash, etc that we choose down the road.

made a very good choice

we got the black granite single bowl. the first one shipped to us was in pieces. the 2nd one was fine. I ordered in plenty of time before countertops. lowes was good on customer service, the store manager was even better. the packing on the 2nd one was much better. the sink is deep, great color and well made it seems. I did change out the drain to black. not a big deal but had to as the one that came with it didn't work with a disposal.

Not completely Matte

In love with how it turned out. Feel like it made my kitchen look bigger (plus love it with my new faucet although I do hate my counter top, old house working on it) and I didn’t notice until after that it really isn’t matte it has a slight glitter component to it which isn’t what I was going for so I’m trying not to be too OCD about it. I had ordered a previous brand and it came poorly packaged that it was broken. Twice. So who the help of Lowe’s associate I ended up ordering this Krauss one instead. First time delivered and very well packaged and not broken. Installation was a bit off two of the brackets didn’t fasten well but figured 4 out of 6 should hold it steady. The other thing I didn’t like was that the drain provided wasn’t black. I wish it would’ve been black or that I would’ve noticed cause I would’ve purchased and all black one. The stainless steel stands out in the all black sink. I do have a water filter installed so no real water marks are left but I did leave a knife and it left a mark very slight outlined mark that I’ve tried to remove but haven’t been successful. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sink! My contractor tried to talk me out of buying this sink as he insisted that it would constantly show mineral deposits since we have well water. I’m so thankful that I didn’t listen to him because he was wrong! I only need to clean my sink once or twice a week and it always looks nice. I only wish that it was designed a little bit differently because the water doesn’t naturally stope down into the drain from left to right where the drain is located. Regardless, I’m still giving this sink a five star review because I love it so much. The size of the sink is huge and accommodates washing large items. I especially love this when washing my refrigerator shelves and drawers!

This sink is big and deep, everything We that we were looking for! It’s also gorgeous and leaves a classy footprint in the kitchen. We did a lot of research before we made this purchase, and this sink is equivalent to sinks we’ve seen at a much higher price, like in the $700’s- plus. We chose black which is a soft black, almost the darkest gray, not black black, it’s absolutely beautiful with our stainless steel appliances and we are highly satisfied with our purchase!

ABSOLUTELY SATISFIED!

Prior to purchasing this sink we had a granite composite double sink. I knew I wanted another granite composite sink when I started shopping. This sink is perfect! I can fit all of my big pots in the sink without any issue. I would purchase this sink in a heartbeat. Also, I use baking soda and white vinegar to clean the sink and then wipe baby oil to condition and make shine.

Well, the Kraus Forteza sink is a sharp looking and more than what was expected. The install was not bad with the exception of clamps to hold the sink down ended up being stripped out...(biggest problem). The texture of the sink is really cool, it almost is a deep dark charcoal grey, that compliments our black marble counter top. The cleaning of the sink, at this time has not been an issue. It seems to drain well. One recommendation would be to have a sink mat for the bottom. Overall, we are happy with it and have had many compliments on it. Great choice!

I love this sink so much!! The quality is great and it looks so good. It is a game changer to only have one sink hole with garbage disposal attached to it. I never have to clean out this nasty sink strainers again. Everything just goes straight down.

Sink looks good and seems to be a nice sink. Only problems I have with it is the mounting hardware for drop in installation is horrible, screws to for hardware are cheap and holes drilled in the sink aren’t drilled right for the screws to attach the hardware and they either strip out or break off in the hole. Paper pattern included for cutout in counter top is completely wrong and doesn’t come close to what is needed to make the sink fit. Sink looks nice and seems nice but there is better sinks for the money that will install much easier. If you have never installed and sink before do not buy this sink or hire a experienced installer. I DO NOT recommend this sink and probably will never buy another for this manufacture.

Amazing single-bowl sink!

Our porcelain double-bowl sink was old and very gross. I was unsure about switching to a single bowl and composite graphite - but I’m SO glad we did! This sink is beautiful and functional; it fit perfectly and offers so much room for big pots/pans and cookie sheets. I like that the drain is off to one side, which slants down so everything runs toward the drain for easier cleaning. Unfortunately the first sink delivered cracked during install, but customer service was amazingly helpful and secured a replacement that arrived super quickly! Our new sink was installed before Christmas, and we have been 100% satisfied so far! Highly recommend!

Good Looking Sink Great Color, Cheers to Overstock

This sink looks great and was packed for a successful delivery BUT it arrived with a substantial crack. I notified Overstock via website and received a call within 30-minutes. The Rep and I discussed the issue, he sent me an email to upload images, and within minutes had a replacement on it's way to me. I will update review when I receive the replacement. Fingers crossed it arrives in good condition. The sink is a perfect grey for my soon-to-be remodeled kitchen and it looks very cool. I also love the size of it. Update: replacement sink arrived in perfect condition. I've had several people I know tell me they love Kraus, I cannot wait to have it installed which will mean my remodel will be close to be done.

Very happy with this sink. We used it as an under mount and I’ve had it for about 2 months. have not seen any scratches. Sink looks great. A few small critiques: water does pool slightly but luckily I don’t have hard water and I don’t see staining or water spots. The kraus logo looks like it’s not exactly straight but that may be because of the way it was installed. Also having Granite in the title/description is misleading because it’s not a stone sink at all. It’s super light weight and almost feels like a durable plastic. All in all very happy with the purchase! It’s a huge and spacious compared to my old double sink.

This is a beautiful sink! I replaced a builder grade 2 tub stainless steel sink. This has basically the same footprint as the old one but it’s SO much bigger. Be aware that the black isn’t a true black. It’s more of a charcoal color. It has a light texture and sparkly flecks throughout. I really love the color. I paired it with the Bolden pull down single handle faucet by Kraus in black/stainless. I also upgraded our garbage disposal to the Badger 1/2HP (both purchased on this site). These aren’t pretty staged photos but I’m throwing them in because I always rely on photos from reviewers when purchasing.

I will admit I was worried about this sink coming cracked after reading the reviews. I ordered the sink at least a month before I needed to install it. I was thinking I would have to return it due to cracks. I wanted to give myself enough time in case I had to return it. But to my surprise it arrived unharmed. The box was dilapidated and definitely abused and I was sure it was broken in a few pieces during shipping. I think the company got wise and changed their packing procedures because it was in PERFECT condition. I opened the box and pulled it out and inspected it carefully and there were no problems. I installed it the other day and it fit my old 60's counter top drop in dimensions perfectly with room to spare. I was worried but after measuring 6 or 7 times before ordering it I was confident it would fit....at least I hoped and it did. I had no issues with the sink or getting it in and putting caulk around it. I absolutely love this sink. It is slightly deeper than my old stainless steel sink and it is one big sink instead of two and I just love it. I didn't use the drain that came with it because I installed a new garbage disposal so that came with it's own drain equipment. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of getting one sink instead of the two sink design.

I’m in love with this sink. I only put three holes in it before I installed it and I wish I knocked out all four. It was NOT an easy install but I had a handy person helping me..it did not sit even or level on my counter top when we dry for it and we had to shave offgrind with a grinder some of the underneath material from the sink (big pain)! I got the black 22” inch sink and a stainless delta faucet that I love! My kitchen looks updated and fresh and the sink is cleaned with bleach spray and dry eraser! I purchased a silicone liner to help protect the bottom of the sink. It was not an easy install because of the defect in the sink but I wasn’t about to return it because I loved it and I wanted it to work! I do recommend if anyone else has that problem you return it..I’m not a quitter and I was able to solve my own problem. All stainsmarks come out of this black sink with a dry eraser because when I first opened this box I was about to return it for a mark (stain) in the middle of it but the dry eraser got rid of it!
