Deep and Substantial
We have a 100 year old home and remodeled our bathroom. The original bathtub was very heavy and cast iron. I really wanted a cast iron tub but couldn’t find one that fit the budget. I was worried about a fiberglass tub; I envisioned those you see in hotels or apartments - cheap, thin, etc. But I took a chance on this one and it’s perfect. It’s very deep, heavy, well made and “fits” our historic home well. A great purchase. You won’t regret it.
Beautiful, small, relaxing tub
I like this tub, it is a perfect size for large or small bathrooms and very is attractive. I like that you can adjust the air flow for more or less bubbles so you don't have to worry so much about bubble overflowing. We just had it installed and have only used it once and I was very please. My husband is 6 foot and he tried it out, he does have to bend his knees a bit but he still enjoyed being in tub for the first time in many years. I am 5 foot and it was perfect for me. It definitely helped relax after a long day. It seemed fairly easy to install by the contractor, it looks like it just slid right into place, a couple supports for the side of the tub and he build a small shelf at the foot of it to cover the gap that was left because the tub that was originally there was larger. Picture to come later after I have finished the painting. Overall a great product and I would recommend.
POOR QUALITY
Our tub is 5 yrs old and it developed a large crack in ... from day one it always made these weird creaking sounds. but after its installed and tiled how are you supposed to remove it! we contacted AS and they said they need proof of purchase. Who saved receipts for 5 yrs!? we are in contact with HD to see if they can pull a credit card statement from back that far for us! but the whole one side of the tub feels very soft and not stable , this was installed properly and level! its very frustrating and nerve racking to think my family might not have a shower!
great tub, get the optional heater
We’ve owned the tub for over 5 years. We installed it ourselves. Its is our primary tub
What a piece of garbage (Home Depot censored the mild excremental adjective I want to use), altho...
What a piece of garbage (Home Depot censored the mild excremental adjective I want to use), although some of the fault may lie with consumer demand for cheap products (if you call a $675 whirlpool tub and drain cheap) and modern appliance design practice. The thing looks like it was fiberglassed together by a 12 year old, with almost random pieces of particleboard serving as flimsy structure. Even worse, looking through the backlit tub walls from a dark room shows many areas with no fiberglass strands, just resin -- very weak fabrication. You can just about read by the light that shines through.
