Matched with the GROHE Chrome Handle set and it was very easy to and stall and worked great!

My contractor told me that the cartridge within the valve was bad and the valve was leaking. I contacted the customer service, told them the issue, uploaded the picture, and they sent me the replacement. We opened the replacement and the cartridge was missing. The replacement is an empty brass casing. Called the customer services again, explained the issue again plus the problem with the replacement. The customer services put in the replacement part(s) request. I have to wait another two weeks for the part. Schedule delayed. Very frustrating to say the least.

Valve works fine. I just wish it had better volume/flow. would recommend not plumbing the tub spout through the diverter valve and upgrade the spout to one with a shower diverter.

DEFINED 29298ENO. Screw stops leaked at install. Gohe sent new ones that seem to be holding EXCEPT cartridge leaks. Gohe says it is backordered until July. Bought the correct cartridge online and it leaks.

Pull the shut offs out when soldering

Journeyman Plumber here, I don’t know why Grohe would put so much plastic right by the solder connection melted both of them and I didn’t do anything different then I would on any other brands valve.

Run away.

Failure on many fronts. This is a new installation, and like others have said, the service stops leaked during pressure testing of our plumbing system. I called Grohe technical support, and they offered to send a new valve. That was 2 weeks ago and no new valve has arrived. I emailed Grohe technical support to follow up, and no response. I finally gave up on Grohe and just ordered another one through Build.com, but now I am considering abandoning the brand altogether and going with something else since I don't trust that this poorly made yet expensive shower setup won't leak or fail after installation of tile. Extremely disappointed with the brand. I expected more.

Buyer's remorse

The cartridge in this unit broke off into the handle. Build.com told me to contact Grohe. Parts are unavailable until end of November. No tub/shower for over a month now. NOT happy and wish I'd went with something else.

Great looking but leaky stops

My plumber installed the valve and it started leaking immediately at the stops. He had to get another gasket and use Teflon tape for it to stop at both ends. He suggested we replace the stops.

the hose is plastic; the hand bar is cheap plastic and the end caps don't fit. hans grohe (brother) is the only way to go

Threads slightly undersized & leaking stop

Stop leaked straight from the factory. Threads are slightly undersized, can bottom out Needed to wrap threads 5 times instead of the usual 3 to get them to not leak.
