There’s a reason for its cheap price. Worked great the first two or three times then downgrades slowly. No fix inspite of all the recommendations followed. Not worth it.

Stopped working
All of a sudden it keeps cutting off and will not cut on. Then it will start back. It is not on auto it is on cool high. It is 100° to 105° heat index today with an air conditioner that only comes on for maybe 30 seconds at most. It looks like I have to deal with the return crap now.
Awful
Had the unit just over a year. Used it for a week or so last summer and two days this summer. Quit working today for no reason. Started flashing all lights annd beeping. And Haier won’t help because it’s past the one year mark. Don’t buy this unit

I ordered an 8000 btu unit only to discover it would not fit in my window and was way too powerful for my small casita.
Shipping
My unit was smashed on both sides of package. Big dent on the unit on one side. Unit was placed upside down on my porch. I have no idea if it even works after the way it was handled during shipping. But I’m going to try it because I need it now. This is not a bad review on the product but it is on the shipment of it.
Not worth the price.
Product stopped working after less than a year. Will be replacing with another brand.
