Be aware of the kettle base

The base of the kettle is very flimsy and is not heavy enough to stay in place on the table and cord is too short and stiff

When my old kettle died I first replaced it with another model from Hamilton Beach but returned it due to the poor design of having to squeeze the buttons on the lid to open it. Seemed a great way to get burned. I bought this model next and kept it. The release button on the handle is a much more effective design. The light changing colours to let you know the temperature of the water as it heats is visually appealing and a fun feature. I like that it’s glass so it’s easy to see everywhere when cleaning it. I just wish I knew if the base has the adhesive touching the water or not. I read reviews (for other kettles) that some kettles are designed that way and I’d rather not ingest water that’s been in contact with chemical.

This is a product to heat water for hot tea, instant soups, instant breakfasts, French press coffee, or anything else requiring warm to boiling hot water. The kettle has LED lights to indicate its progress during the heating cycle. The kettle is easy to fill with the large, push button opening lid and wide opening (Pic #1). The side of the kettle is clearly marked with indicators for cups and ounces (Pic #2). When first turned on, the LED lights around the bottom ring turn purple (Pic #3). The large switch to turn the kettle on is at the base of the comfortable, easy to maintain control handle (Pic #4). In the 2nd stage, the LED light ring turns blue (Pic #5). At this stage you can see the bubbles beginning to form (Pic #6). In the 3rd stage the LED light ring turns green (Pic #7). As it heats further through each stage the color increases around the LED light ring. In stage 4, the LED light ring turns yellow (Pic #8). In the 5th, and final stage, the LED light ring turns red (Pic #9) and the water is actively boiling (Pic #10). When it reaches maximum temperature, it automatically turns off and the LED light ring turns off (Pic #11). The double wall kettle keeps the water hot for a long time (Pic #12). Each of the LED light ring colors indicates a range of heat that is listed in the manual. If you don't need boiling water, you can use the LED light ring color to tell you when to turn off the kettle when it reaches the temperature you need. It is a very usable product with clear, easy to understand features and controls.

[Rewarded Review] Great Tea Kettle

Used this electric kettle in my kitchen for boiling water for tea. My husband and I drink a lot of tea and this kettle works great. Love the automatic shutoff and my son just thought that the LED light was super cool. The kettle heated the water quickly and kept it warm if we weren't quite ready to use it immediately. My only is with it being glass I worry that it may chip or break easily. So far so good but I'm being cautious.

So far we have nothing but amazing love for the Hamilton Beach 1.7 LED Electric Kettle. The Hamilton Beach 1.7 LED Electric Kettle heats up quickly for both my morning teas and hubby anytime hot cocoas. We love the clear kettle that allows us to monitor the process if we want to watch the water heat. The kettle has a cool LED indicator when process of heating is completed it glows and an auto shutoff which provides a nice peace of mind knowing the stove is off when running off to work in a rush. The kettle itself is cordless as it sits on the heating unit stand but still can be utilized as a serving pitcher. Hubby loves his hot cocoa and now with this kettle he makes his own all the time. Win-win for me!

[Rewarded Review] Easy to use

The 1.7L Double Wall LED Kettle came well packed. The instructions were easy to use for first use and subsequent use. The handle and body is well made. We have been using the kettle to warm water. The kettle has an inbuilt filter. The kettle started with purple color and then goes to full boil at red. The toggle switch on the handle helps with Opening to fill in water. I wish the lid would open more for water to be filled a little easier. The kettle would be perfect if it has temperature and could be shut off based on temperature settings.

I like this 1.7 L Double Wall Kettle very much, and mostly use it strictly for heating water for tea, hot cocoa & such. This kettle heats up fairly quickly and is easy to clean. It also matches well with my other Hamilton Beach Appliances. I have received many compliments on it and inquiries as to where the can purchase one.

I recently got the 1.7 L Double Wall LED kettle by Hamilton Beach. This kettle is amazing! It has a sleek design and holds a lot of water. The kettle has glass walls which makes it easy to see how much water is in the kettle and if it's reached the level of boil you want. The base of the kettle has a led light ring around it that changes colors indicating temperature. I like that there is an automatic turn off 30-90 seconds after the water reach boiling temps. It can reach a rolling boil in roughly 4 minutes. I use this kettle for all the time like boiling water for soup, boiling water to put in the pressure cooker, cooking oatmeal or grits. This kettle will come in really handy when we go camping as well.

Honestly, never knew how convenient a kettle would be until I got one. I’ve wanted one just used other means like my coffee pot for hot water. Recently I e been using instant coffee and this kettle comes in handy! By the time I get my lunch packed for work in the morning the water is hot, even before I’m done. It’s a nice go to for hot tea and the led light for temp range is so nice to make my toddler some hot tea without it being too hot to drink. I haven’t seen any discoloration or calcium build up yet, but I have been using filtered water. Annnnd it’s electric. Has auto shut off when it reaches peak temp and when taken off the base. Super ideal. Super convenient . Happy to have in my kitchen

This product is absolutely amazing. It heats water very quickly and also changes volor depending on the temperature of the water. It is super convenient and would make a great gift. The carafe is plastic over top of glass so it never gets hot to the touch. This item is super easy to use and can be used by anyone. Another great quality is that it automatically turns off when the water is boiling.

Amazing product that beats water really quick. Also the color changes is quite useful especially when you want target specific water temperature for use. Lastly, the double glass wheel was very useful to avoid getting hurt or burnt when using the kettle. It’s overall useful and very safe to use in daily basis.

An excellent water kettle. 1.7 liter capacity. Quick, cordless convenience with a color changing LED temperature indicator. So much faster and more convenient than boiling water on the stove. This double wall kettle also keeps the water warmer for 29% longer. There is an auto shutoff feature for peace of mind as well as a “boil-dry” feature to turn it off if the water level is too low. There are 5 colors on the LED indicator, so you can turn it off at your desired temp. There is a chart in the instructions as well as recommended temperatures for different teas and coffee. The 1500 watts brings a full kettle to a boil very quickly. It’s honestly impressive how well it works. The kettle sits on a base, so the cord isn’t physically attached to the kettle itself, so when you are pouring there is no cord to worry about. The glass is BPA free and the heating plate is stainless steel. This gives me confidence that it’ll last a long time. The lid opens easily with the push of a button and has a built in screen filter to keep debris from teabags, etc from ending up in your cup. The lid opens fully allowing for easy cleaning as well. I am very happy with this kettle. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality, convenient and user friendly water kettle.

[Rewarded Review] cute and fast led light kettle.

In love with how beautiful and practical this electric kettle is, in just 5 minutes it boils a liter of water without creating that much smoke that is created on the stove and the long time it takes to boil. This kettle is super easy to use and easy to clean and the best thing is that I don't have to keep an eye on it since it has an automatic shut-off. I love that it has a rack. It is ideal for straining when preparing a delicious tea. It is also beautiful and relaxing to see its 5 colors of LED lights while your water boils.
